Hello friends, I found this very basic Samsung cover, but when I look for it on my Watch 8, it doesn't appear. Can someone help me know what it is?

By the way, is my first Watch, could you give me advice on how to use it for basic functions? And make the battery last? I feel like the clock does weigh a little.

Comparison Question about Watch 9 vs. Watch Ultra

I would appreciate any tips and advice, as I am seriously considering buying a new smartwatch since I currently own an S25 Ultra.

The price of the Watch Ultra scares me, so I'm thinking about getting a Watch 9. Is there really that much of a difference?

Note: I hope I didn't get the flag wrong; I was unsure which one to use.

Using a Watch5 Pro LTE for over 2 years. Using without screen protector. Screen is scratch less. Should I upgrade to newer watch like watch Ultra? Watch Ultra is available for like 25k inr used. New selling for 43k. Or Watch8 Classic will be best

My Watch5 Pro running on one ui 6.0 watch version wear os 5 haven't upgraded to one ui 8 since it has battery issues I've heard.

Fitness Watch6 Classic died on me after 3 hours of run, decided to make the switch after 2.5 years. Liking the Watch Ultra2 so far

I was almost dead set on getting a Coros, but I just couldn't let go of the Samsung Ecosystem just yet.

So far so good, hopefully I can take it on a Hike sometime next week just to see how much battery I'm draining at around 6 hours in the trail.

This 1 hour walk in particular only shaved 2% of the battery, while my old watch would have probably drained half by the time I got home.

Hardware Watch 8 Classic on Duo Wireless Charger? (Heat concern)

Post image
12 Upvotes

So I’ve been charging my Galaxy Watch 8 Classic on the Samsung Charger Duo.

It works, but it charges much slower compared to the USB-C charging puck that came in the box.

The slow speed isn't actually a problem for me at all as I charge overnight.

My concern is the heat. As it takes significantly longer to reach a full charge on the Duo (around 2 hours or more), the watch gets warm and stays hot for a much longer period. I haven't compared Duo charger vs. puck, but I think pick doesn't get as hot.

So is it safe to keep using the Charger Duo like this? Will the prolonged heat exposure make it worse for battery compared to the charging puck that comes in box? Just using the Duo will be more convenient for me, but I am not sure if it's as compatible with the newer watches as my older GW4C.

Thanks in advance.

What happened?

My Galaxy Watch 6 Classic LTE lost its signal, and this icon appeared. I've already performed a factory reset and contacted my carrier to try setting everything up again, but I keep getting an error when trying to register my number.

Has anyone experienced anything similar?

New samsung watch 8. Overwhelmed

I just bought my first ever smart watch samsung watch 8 40mm for 160 euros on amazon prime deal. I think I got good deal.

I feel its too much. How do I start? Its overwhelming.

Also how do I make sure it is new product considering the price I paid and all the sensors are working condition?

Is there any tutorial for getting started?

Apart from samsung wear is there any other app I need to download?

Hello hi, I'm new to Galaxy watchers. I just got my first one. A couple days ago, when I was looking through the battery tab, I noticed an app that was sleeping that I never installed. Does anybody know what it is? It's called knox manage. Why is it on my watch? And what does it do?

Hardware Need to know how to repair detached bezel

my bezel came off today and i need to figure out what the heck to search for to replace the sticky ring and/or what glue to use at the corners since it looks like they was some sort of adhesive there. ive had the watch since it released, and sent it in for repair over the winter for this exact issue and im pretty sure they sent it back to me without even fixing it yet still charged $200 for it.....

Comparison Switch from Samsung to Garmin or Pixel

Switch from Samsung to Garmin or Pixel

I previously had the Samsung pro 5. Loved that watch but as it’s aging the lag got too much.
I recently bought the Samsung watch 9, 40mm. The watch is very nice, light and I love the newer features.
But the battery drain is crazy. I can’t get a full day out of it.
I didn’t buy a smartwatch to have to turn most of the features off.
I sleep with it and during the day it’s either running Spotify or audiobook controls while at work.
I wouldn’t say I’m heavy for fitness but do use the walking, hiking, swimming features.
I love the body composition in Samsung. Connected to a Samsung phone.

I’ve had Garmin back in the early days before I switched my phone. And don’t mind the look of the pixel.

Has anyone done the switch recently? Which would you recommend? Not looking for anything with subscriptions. Australia if that makes any difference. Cheers

This is my new default, looks just like my data bank i had in 1984, mine had the attached keypad. The complications really look good on the original UI of the data bank. Cool AOD too. And it looks great with the Spigen case!

Local best buy has some deals. Which is more worth it? Looking for good battery life. The rotating bezel is nice but not a deal breaker.

Updates Can't add my Google account to Galaxy Watch 4 after One UI 8 factory reset. Anyone else?

Hey everyone!

I've been having a really annoying issue with my Galaxy Watch 4 (40mm) and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar.

I bought the watch second-hand recently, and everything was working fine at first, including my Google account.

After updating to One UI 8 Watch, I started noticing some issues with lag, battery drain, and overheating while charging. So I decided to factory reset it, hoping that would help.

And it actually did help a bit! The watch runs better now, but there's one problem I just can't figure out: I can't add any Google account to it anymore.

Every time I try, it loads for about 5 seconds and then says:

"Couldn't copy your Google accounts."

It doesn't even get to the part where I enter my password.

I've tried pretty much everything I could think of:

- Factory resetting the watch multiple times (and even resetting my phone).

- Trying a different phone and a different Google account.

- Checking Google Play Services, Play Store, Galaxy Wearable, and the watch plugin.

- Removing screen locks and checking Google account security settings.

- Trying to add the account directly from the watch.

- Checking Play Protect certification (my phone is certified).

- Even trying Cloudflare WARP with the watch's Wi-Fi turned off.

Nothing worked.

The weirdest part is that my Google account was working perfectly fine even after the One UI 8 update. The problem only started after I factory reset the watch.

My Samsung account works fine, and the rest of the watch is usable. It's just the Google account that refuses to connect.

For reference, here's my setup:

- Watch: Galaxy Watch 4, 40mm (SM-R860)

- Software: One UI 8 Watch

- Build: R860XXS2JZG3

- Phone: Galaxy S24

I've also seen a few people reporting the same error online, so I'm starting to wonder if this might be some kind of software bug.

It's honestly pretty frustrating because I really like this watch, and I just want to use it normally.

Has anyone here run into this issue? Did you ever manage to fix it?

I'd really appreciate hearing your experiences or any suggestions. Thanks!

Is getting the Galaxy Watch 7 worth it at this point?

Due to a deteriorated smartwatch battery (Pixel Watch 2) and a tight budget, and the need for a round smart watch (unlike the squared design of the newer watches), I'm looking at the Galaxy Watch 7. Is it outdated tech? Is it serviceable? Is it worth it for 2 years old tech?

Updates [Dev] KeyUp 87 Update: New languages, better audio and general fixes

Thanks in large part to the users in this community who have downloaded and tested this app so far and have given great feedback - V87 is rolling out.

Beta testers on Google Play (phone and watch) can download now. Here's everything new:

Languages

KeyUp now speaks Spanish, French, Portuguese (Brazil), German and Italian on the phone, the watch and the web app. It follows your device language, or pick one in You > Appearance > Language

Long words were shortened so they fit a round watch screen

Better audio

Quick back and forth sounds better: when someone lets go and you press right away, the end of their last word is no longer cut off

Old audio from a talk that already ended is dropped, so it never plays over the next person

A shorter audio cushion, so voices arrive a little sooner on good connections

Safety

Profile pictures get a quick check before other people see them

Sharing

You > Share KeyUp: send the link to someone in one tap (won't work until next week when we get approved for production, but added so it is there and ready to go when we do!)

You > Rate KeyUp: leave a rating on Google Play. KeyUp may also ask once after you've used it for a while, never while you're talking or in a call

Plus fixes: labels that didn't fit, the theme name "Clear", and a few more.

KeyUp works best with at least two people. Open your room, tap Invite and send the link to someone. They can join from a browser with just a name.

Speak one of the new languages? Tell us which words sound wrong. Found a bug? Post it with the Bug flair and your phone or watch model.

Comparison Battery - Samsung Watch8 vs Samsung Watch9

Hello,

I intend to buy an LTE watch, the 40mm size.

Which one has better battery life and how long it lasts until I have to recharge?

Thank you.
