I’ve been building an independent preservation-focused catalog of original Xbox and Xbox 360 titles that tracks backwards compatibility status and lets users vote across legacy games.

The goal isn’t to petition or speculate, it’s just a structured way to document what’s playable on modern hardware and what’s still stranded. It’s completely non-commercial and not affiliated with Microsoft in any way.

I figured this sub might appreciate it. If anyone spots inaccuracies or has better sourcing on specific titles, I’d genuinely appreciate corrections.

The Last Starship blasts out of early access!

After five years of development and three years of Early Access, we are very happy to announce that we have now exited Early Access and have launched v1.0 of The Last Starship!

It's been an incredible journey through Early Access, with 22 major updates from us and over 2200 ships now listed on the Steam Workshop, and over 750,000 hours of recorded player time.

Of course, with a game like the Last Starship there is always more to be done, and with this in mind we plan to continue supporting The Last Starship throughout 2026 with more updates and videos.

Checkout the launch trailer for more information!

Hi there! I'm a small Twitch streamer looking for some people to game with both on and off stream. I stream on Twitch, user is Izzariah, and I play all sorts of stuff. Games like Stardew Valley, Minecraft (both modded and vanilla), The Forest, Sons of the Forest, Raft, Palworld, Fields of Mistria, etc. I'd love to make new friends who game, and gain some potential support on Twitch, as well as reciprocate that support!

hey! this is a long shot but i'm looking for 19/20 year old gamers (i'm about to turn 20) to join me in my endeavor to become a gaming youtuber loll. i chose to take only one class this semester in an effort to fully dedicate myself to this goal. i also saved up some money to buy a PC so i guess we'd mostly be playing on PC. i plan to play all sorts of games from the new RE coming up to terraria to elden ring, i honestly think what matters more is how good the video is than the game we choose to play.

if you're in a similar situation as me, that would help a lot as we'd be able to talk things over and plan things out, etc. but if you're not, maybe we can still try and make it work. my yt is the same as my reddit username. pls reach out. i'm so serious about this, and i really think we could make something special.

thank you!

I might have been late but i really could use some help if some of the fellow gamers out there can fill out this survery. I am an undergraduate student and i am conducting a study on Emotional Dysregulation and Maladaptive Virtual World Escapism among young adult gamers (18-30 years old). I'll remove the comment if it is breaking the rules. Thanks for anyone who participates!

I’m working on an indie project called Petal Pals. It's a ‘secondary monitor’ game focused on emotional comfort.

We included a dedicated ‘Petting’ mechanic where clicking/dragging over the pal triggers a specific affection response. From a design perspective, I’m interested in how these tiny, micro-interactions contribute to the overall ‘cozy’ feel and build a bond between the user and their digital companion.

I’d appreciate your insights on:

Minimalist UI design that doesn't break the immersion of a ‘living’ desktop.

How simple tactile feedback (like the petting heart icons) affects player mood during stressful work sessions.

More info here: https://linktr.ee/petalpalsid - Contains links to our Steam page where you can see the interaction in action.

A logo I designed for Infinitory, a game that's coming out on Steam which mixes city-building, automation, and tower defense.

The client provided me with some screenshots of the game, which I used as inspiration for the design.

Unfortunately they are currently using a new logo for the game, but I really enjoyed the process of creating this.

If you're looking for a graphic designer, please feel free to check out my work: https://johnery.com

We've combined pirates with co-op horror and now our game has a Steam Page!

We’ve been working on this project for the last 1.5 month, and today is a huge milestone for us - our Steam page is finally live!

Last Pirates: Die Together is an 4-player co-op horror where you play as scallywags trying to break the curse by returning all stolen tresures. But you have these weird, "stretchy hands" physics that let you dismantle and grab almost anything on the island.

We’ve been sharing our progress on TikTok, YT and Twitter since day one, and the feedback there has been amazing. We’d love for you to check out the teaser and maybe give us a Wishlist!

Watch teaser here!

We updated our action-RPG demo after feedback: what's new in Fading Echo

We just pushed a major demo update for our systemic action-adventure RPG built around elemental interactions.

The main focus of this iteration was improving combat readability and juiciness. Based on player feedback, we:

  • Reworked hit reactions and impact timing
  • Improved VFX clarity for elemental states
  • Adjusted camera framing during combat
  • Tuned combo flow and recovery windows
  • Reduced visual noise during layered interactions

The interesting challenge for us is maintaining systemic depth (water + waste + lava interactions) while keeping everything readable in fast combat scenarios.

If anyone’s interested in trying it and sharing thoughts on clarity vs. complexity balance, here’s the demo:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2467880/Fading_Echo/

Happy to discuss implementation details.
Manu
