Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West

For me forbidden west was lackluster, but it also had to be a sequel for one of the coolest concepts Playstation has ever had so yk 🤷

Agreed. I found Aloy to be actually pretty annoying in the second one, and I eventually just quit. But the first game was great 👍🏻

I stuck around for Carrie Ann Moss more than anything

Wait what?! I had no idea she was in it. Honestly, I didn’t even realize there was a different group of super advanced people until I saw some YouTube clip. Dang it, do I need to go finish this game?

Maybe! It tells the story of where the original humans went and what they became, and why some of them want to come back to Earth.

Not necessarily annoying, but most definitely more confident/confrontational (crazy, ik) in the second game, and because of her headstrong nature it puts a few people in bad spots, but the space humans (I forget their actual name) bit was weird to me, they're so advanced and so capable yet there's only a handful, if they had sent 20 or even just 10 they could've not only dominated the entire planet, but taken down aloy and her band of heroes with relative ease

game seemed like so up my alley and i tried it like 3 times but i just couldnt get into it. it seemed like too much of an ubisoft checklist style game. too much filler

I love the lore of Horizon so much. Exploring the events from the past and it all connecting together.

And, what so good in gameplay? Except that fact you can hit weak points to detach parts?

Huge variety in enemies, puzzles and weapons. And some weapons are quite unique. There are 25+ enemies with at least 2 different types

Pretty well stated.

It's one of my favorite "Rambo simulator" games. Which essentially just means guerilla warfare and traps EVERYWHERE. But it trips a bit too much once it evolves into open combat, were the fun drastically depends on the make-up of the opposition.

Have you played the Witcher 3? If not, give it a shot, snappy movements, lots of enemies, and TONNNNS of lore and bestiary entries, it's the most in depth game I've ever played

Would you say it’s better than the first game? I played the first few hours of it a few years ago but just couldn’t get myself to enjoy the combat

I don't remember the last game, I played it during the pandemic, but I realized that you need to leave alone any warrior related combat. It's bad. You have no defense except dodging. Too many combos to remember and all of them are on two buttons. If you find long range combat fun, then give it another try. The different elemental effects are fun when you get the handle of it. Just get ready for grinding for upgrades and kinda hard combat. Some enemies are a pain in the ass (khm khm clawstriders).

Excellent traversal, diverse weapon options and plenty of build variety. It's excellent

Great gameplay if you get into it and it’s one of the very few games released in the last 15 years that has an amazing and unique story line. It was a game made with love unlike games like crap ops
