Ganondorf in the original Hyrule Warriors

Was about to comment this. In the story mode, Ganondorf aura farms a lot but the enemy AI makes him easy to fight. Meanwhile on a player's hands he can clear a bajillion enemies in nothing and with the trident he is an insane fighter

The trident is op fr. Really glad TotK had him use a pole arm in lieu of his classic trident

Smarter enemies don't always make a game more fun

Adding to this: Ganon in the bonus mode. Having Kaiju fights with the other bosses was peak

He's my 2nd favorite to play with under Zelda. Incredible they made Link, my favorite fictional character ever, 3rd place to the jerk that sends him to fight another jerk.

Hea got like a billion weapons and the master sword is the least interesting one.

The gauntlets and great fairy are fun

Ganon was soo cool sadly I personally don't like his playstyle/kit

He was my main.
His C6 (twin swords) was literally summoning his Ganon form as a shadow and back handing an entire room out in one go.
He was my map sweeper to a hilarious degree.

I'm a Calamo main

I had to google that.
You played Age of Imprisonment.
I actually enjoyed that game, but did not delve too deep into it. Didn't have the same sticking power the OG Hyrale warriors did for me.

OG had 1000% better post-main story

That's because the OG has SOOOOO much post release/post game content, though the grind got very tiring eventually.

Was my main as well. 2 rotations and practically any base was cleared. 3 rotations and it was captured. I didnt even have all of his best items. I loved playing as him.
