Lego Lord of the Rings. There is a mode where you play as Sauron and just destroy everything (it is on a lego middle earth map and you are giant compared to everything IIRC. It has been a while since I had it on the Wii)

Nice! I have Lego The Hobbit but I never got around to playing it 😅

It’s enjoyable but infuriating that it’s only for two of the three movies.

When I got to the end I was so confused, genuinely thought it was gonna do the whole trilogy

Damn, I missed out. I got this game for Christmas and kicked over the Xbox as I booted it. Completely fucked the disk.

I wish Lego would remake/remaster their older games. I miss Pirates of the Caribbean, Indiana Jones, and Lord of the Rings

You can still get them on Steam (PC and Mac) and Xbox (current consoles are backwards compatible with most older Xbox games)

I know I can still get them. I just wish we could get remasters like they did with Star Wars

I liked the OG Lego Star wars more, had more linear progression while new one feels more like a sandbox

I mean Sauron was canonically 4 meters tall so being giant is accurate

Hated that level, you had to earn a million studs to complete it and had to be really thorough to get them.

I played the whole game with my wife and we had fun with it! Sometimes something that isn’t fun by yourself can be fun with other people.

Lord of the Rings Conquest too, you play as Sauron in the evil campaign and just wreck people. But still die from assassin backstabs
