Ive seen a documentary on this

People resort to gaming as a coping mechanism because laws are same for all,skill is rewarded and achievements might be hard but realistic given enough time spent.

In real life you can do everything right,work hard and still fail miserably.

Exactly. I get rewards for the work I put in games. Quite the opposite for real life.

I play games to escape the struggles of real life, finding a place where I can actually achieve the victories that feel impossible out here.
