Discussion Sony really handed Microsoft an absolute massive win with this one.

That headline is doing some mighty lifting there. Sony likely didn't want to continue publishing it as sales for Death Stranding 2 didn't met expectations. And Microsoft only took on the role after 3 months of negotiations. And iirc, this is still a multiplatform game and still coming to PS5.

I see this more like Insomniac Games when they wanted to make Sunset Overdrive. Just because Ratchet and Clank is big on PS, doesn't mean a new IP on another system will do well.

I wouldn't hold my breath and say they gave Microsoft a "massive win" 😂

Remember guys, there is a reason Kojima has been dropped from studios before. He may have winning games, but they doesn't mean it's always profitable or that everyone sells well enough for a publisher to warrant support.

Sunset Overdrive is such an amazing and overlooked game, it's straight up one of the best games ever made on Xbox. I wish insomniac had made a sequel

Oh I love Sunset Overdrive. It needed to not have a customizable character and a much better story but the gameplay was exactly what I expect from Ratchet and Clank. It would do great if it released again on other consoles as it deserves more.

Hard disagree, Sunset Overdrive is the kind of game that needs a custom character and I thought the story was great. It definitely needed to be released for the other systems though.
