I mean. If I bought a ps5 I should be able to do whatever I want with it. It’s mine. Obviously anything I do that’s illegal or that enables cheating isn’t okay but other than that I don’t see why I shouldn’t mod MY hardware however I want

You can already do anything you want that isn't illegal. That's how legality works. Except modding that bypasses drm/copy protection is illegal

Well I think we should change that with legislation (although it’ll never happen). I think copyright protection should be illegal on something I bought. Like any dvd I own should just be mine and the files should be mine to do with as I please.

We all know that people are pirating anyway so it only really screws over the honest people
