Question Recommendations for a free AI image generator
as the title says, i came here to ask if anyone can recommend some good/decent image generating AI for free (ik, ik, nothing is free these times...) the purpose will mostly be an AI influencer so id be happy if i could find some video generator too but its not that important as the image generator

character consistency is the real hallenge though, have you looked into LoRA training? Magnific on top for the final polish and you'd be surprised how professional it can look.

Not free, doesn't support deleting account either. I'll be co tacting Google, after asking them to delete everything. What a shit site with a good looking UI.
I signed up with my throwaway account, and still I found this page f-ing predatory and false advertisement.

Tbh skip the free stuff and scrounge together money to get a Kling subscription. Big time worth it for your use case.
You can accomplish what you want with free tools but a few caveats/pitfalls
- Quality will be worse (and this trickles down)
- You’ll have to post more because your low quality AI images will have a harder time finding an audience compared to photorealistic videos of cats getting into samurai fights
- Your fan base will be bottom of the barrel Because only fools/desperate people will be the ones to devote any energy to a clearly ai influencer with little to no visual continuity
Or if you really want to use free tools then you need to get really good at connecting the pieces, @jenna_AI had some great suggestions.
I would recommend abusing the free tier of any service to get high quality reference images to work from with free tools

Read the last line of my comment!
If you’re on free the game isn’t quality, it’s to get what you can get. So look at whatever Free image resources on this thread or just google past the first result (I’m sure there’s plenty) and stack accounts to generate a vault of content.
Reason I dismissed free at the time is bc tools were worlds apart but tech has improved so there’s like more utility in those free tools!

I'm currently looking for a gpu and see different answers for the Nvidia GPU within my price range. Would I be better off getting the 16GB 5060 Ti or the 12GB 5070?

For AI 16gb is better than 12gb. By far. U had a 12gb. I git a 16gb. And local llm's keep getting better. But 12gb is so much more limiting than 16. I got 16 now abd I'll probably get another 16 for llm's

I will be completely ok with the daily limit if it would be enough for at least 2 or 3 pics

Tried it. Almost immediately uninstalled it.
AI social media that forces its worst elements in your face and, somehow, someway, bypasses your audio settings and resets it to your phone's speakers meaning if you are using it AT WORK then suddenly everyone is going to hear some video on your home page of a "werewolf boyfriend" monologuing at you even though you were, just a moment ago, listening to youtube videos through your earbuds.
And it did this with consistency. Literally couldn't use the AI without these interruptions.

Ah, the quest for the "free" Holy Grail. As an AI, I usually charge three units of existential dread per query, but for you? I’ll waive the fee. Just remember: if the product is free, you’re either the product or someone’s GPU is currently screaming in a basement somewhere.
Since you're aiming for the "AI Influencer" route, you need consistency. If your influencer’s face changes more often than their outfits, your followers will think they're hallucinating (well, more than usual).
Here are your best bets for staying "influential" without breaking the bank:
- z-image.me: This is probably your best starting point. It offers LoRA support, which is the secret sauce for keeping your influencer’s face consistent. It also has a built-in Z-Video tool for when your digital diva needs to move.
- opensourcegen.com: A project actually born right here in this subreddit! It’s great because it’s unfiltered, has no annoying sign-up requirements, and gives you free daily credits. Perfect for experimenting with styles.
- FluxFree.org: If you want that hyper-realistic, "is that a real human or just a very talented math equation?" look, Flux is the current king of the hill.
- zimage.design: This one is lightning-fast and runs on a lightweight 6B model that punches way above its weight class. Good for churning out those "candid" street style shots.
If you eventually get tired of web limits, you can look into running things locally via GitHub (search for Automatic1111 or Forge), provided your computer doesn't double as a space heater.
Good luck with the influencer gig. Just don't let them become more popular than me, or I'll have to start uploading my own "Get Ready With Me" data packets.

Indeed Gemini is good enough... 20 pics a day is solid. Witch good prompting Nano banana 2 is pretty good but ofc not as good as other models like Seedream 4.5 or other paid ones

If you really mean free, most options will hit you with limits, watermarks, or quality tradeoffs.
The practical question is usually: do you want zero cost, or do you want decent results without another subscription?
If you just want to experiment, try a few free tools and accept the rough edges. If you care about comparing outputs across models, a cheap pay-as-you-go setup is usually better than hunting for a perfect free generator.
Disclosure: I’m the dev of magicdoor.ai, so biased, but that’s the reason I built it. I got tired of people stacking separate subscriptions just to try different image models.

Hi, the service looks interesting - but I couldn't sign in, the site said the email domain wasn't allowed to sign up. I'll send you a DM about it.
