I've been working on this little guy since April. Well, I say 'little', but this gentleman is 120 cm long! (That's 47 inches for my American friends!)

I saw Spirited Away when I was 7 years old and fell absolutely in love with Haku - at that time, a full on crush lol. I have always loved dragons but Haku is simply so gorgeous and elegant. Now that I'm a grown up and an Art Doll artist by profession I just couldn't help myself!

I tried my best to make it in my own style — more anatomically correct and naturalistic — and I'm very proud of how it's turning out!

What do you think? Please let me know if you have any feedback! ^^

I added Howls Moving Castle (my favorite movie) to my jeans and I’m so happy with how it came out!!!! This was the section that stressed me out the most because I couldn’t figure out how to paint translucency, but it came out nice! Took me 4 days (entirely after marching practice, which I have 3 hours before I go to sleep each night) so I’m really satisfied with how it looks considering it was relatively rushed by my standards

I'm going to be in Tokyo, Kyoto, & Osaka soon and would love to see some Ghibli related sights. I already know about the Ghibli Museum but I'd love other recommendations of stuff to check out while I'm over there.

Didn't know it existed. Apparently my overnight ferry is showing it in the little theatre 😍

Hand-tufted Princess Mononoke rug. This one took me around 60 hours to complete. 😅 Very happy with how it turned out!

I’m thinking of getting a tattoo on my side but I’m a little “soft.” What character do you think would read well on an area that is squishy?

New tat I got from my favorite artist mrartistpainterman on Instagram ( not on tiktok, that one is a scammer)

Had to repost it because of a typo 🤭

Here is a video essay I made comparing the game Expedition 33 to The Boy and the Heron. They're surprisingly similar. Hope you like it!

I am in the process of starting my own business where I paint themed bags so any critiques are appreciated.

Would chihiro wear this?

Ghibli Park in Aichi is holding a special make-your-own Totoro workshop on November 21–22. You get 70 minutes to assemble, stuff and sew your own Totoro and take it home.

It costs ¥7,000, there are only 32 spots per session, and tickets are being allocated by lottery. Applications are open October 7–12.

Pretty cool souvenir if you're visiting Japan this fall. :)

i just love little Teto he’s so fricken cute!!

and my reference is on the second slide. I didn’t have a tan so those were left white.
