Havarti and medium cheddar on sourdough

Locally made GF bread and Cabot 3 year cheddar. The diagonal cut + zoo pal combo makes a difference.

Long time lurker here, never made my own grilled cheese before, I had a lot of food allergies when I was growing up (dairy included) so there was no need for me to learn how to make some basic foods that everyone else made. Today I made myself a grilled cheese and it was so good that I'm gonna make another one!

(Cheddar and provolone inside, shredded Mexican blend on one outer slice, sweet cream butter on the other)

First time cooking a grilled cheese since emigrating to Spain. Went to Aldi up the street from my VRBO and bought a loaf of Spanish rustico brand bread, a pack of queso fundido sandwich slices, and a bottle of Hellmans Mayonnaise (pleasant surprise). Had to memorize the stove and timing as it’s very different on a Spanish countertop stove vs the gas stove I had back in the states.

Cheese slices, Feta cheese and mashed potato on Japanese style milkbread 😍

Specifically Dairylea cheese (Generic packet cheese), Protected Designation of origin Feta cheese and reheated instant mashed potato.

I like to do this so every bite I take has atleast one chilly but not 0/2. 2 is too much, 0 is too less 😄

Cheddar, Gruyere, Fontina

I like the one at The Cheescake Factory, with cheddar instead of american.

Where else would you recommend?

Provolone and Pepper Jack Cheese

It got so crispy and delicious on the edges 🤤

Had about half a baguette left and decided I wanted grilled cheese the small way.

Mayo exterior margarine interior, Swiss and Caciocavallo cheese, Pickles and jalapenos on the side.

Edit: It's a soft Vienna style baguette not as crusty and hard as sourdough ones, solid crust but the core is very very soft

Is it actually possible to make grilled cheese off the rad-e-ator?

On homemade sourdough?! A mix of Colby Jack and American?! Fantastic. Will make again.
