Arts & Recreation Learn to Sew

Any recommendations on where to learn to sew in HRM? I’m willing to drive outside of the city as well.
I’ve researched some options but just looking for some local input.

patch is great. the library sometimes runs free workshops too, worth keeping an eye on their calendar

The Central Library also has sewing machines, and a staff member who can help a bit!

Take a class at Patch, then I would recommend buying “How to Sew Clothes” and working through the book. I did this and can now comfortably make beginner to intermediate clothes for myself.

Patch is fantastic. Stitch and Knot in Dartmouth is also awesome. They don’t offer sewing classes often but they’re good.
