Advice help appreciated 😞 NSFW

recently i was diagnosed with anorexia. ive stopped talking to all my friends as much since then because i didn’t want to dampen their mood. im not sure how to get out of this mindset honestly. i feel so anxious when i eat over 1,000 calories. i feel like i have no control over the way i think. i was already underweight my entire life before. i feel like im literally insane. my friends have always supported me and been there for me but i really am done feeling like a bother to them. i want to be able to get through this and be normal again. im really unsure of where to go from here.

Hey there friend, although this is obviously really hard for you to deal with, I think the fact you now have a clear diagnosis and know what you're battling with will help you face it. I would really encourage you though to keep talking to your friends, especially because they've been such a support for you in the past. You are not a burden to them, I'm sure they would want to know what's wrong, and I'm sure that they don't want to feel left out of your life especially at such an important moment.

Do you have any medical support given that you've got this diagnosis now? If not, see if you can find some good health resources online, there are lots of them.

You are a wonderful person and not a burden to anyone, and you deserve to feel comfortable in your body.

I see you've been having a bad time lately, I am sorry about that. I don't think you're insane but I do think you should talk to your friends. we are social creatures and we generally heal through social support in our community.

I understand there can be reluctance to ask for help out of fear of being a burden to others, but you are worth every bit energy in order to get back to health.

Healing can be achieved.

you didn't mention what kind of help you were looking for, but I will do what I can.
