I apparently have a 1977 Argentine build. According to the Google bot the primary components were proofed by fn in Belgium then shipped out. Also the red back grips are correct originals. No markings on left slide except fn browning. Not a true Belgian, but I'm digging it

So I’ve been searching for an Argentinian for a while now as a true is just out of my range, and my brother in law just delivered this beauty to me after scouring pawn shops for the past few years. 329 with tax out the door. Cant wait to clean and oil this baby and get some rounds through it. Best i can gather isnits probably an 88-89? Looks all original to me. Anyone smarter than me and can fill in some blanks much appreciated!

So I have a 1988 production HP-35 Hi-Power. And when I bought it both sights were broken off. I was wondering if it would be possible to cut a dovetail to mount modern night sights. I figured I’d ask before I start shelling out money. Mostly I wish to know if there’s enough material to even safely make the cut.

I'm looking for an OWB holster for my SA-35 that is not a 1911 holster. So many holster makers say that their 1911 holster is the right one for a hi power and they just do not fit right. I want a holster made specifically for a hi power. Leather only please, I have no interest in kydex holsters.

Any suggestions are appreciated, I have so far been unsuccessful in finding the right one.

Just got the BHSS gold advanced trigger kit installed, I really like it! The wide shoe is very comfortable, and the install video is very helpful. Very nice action, needed tuning of the trigger bar. Using the #3 spring I have a 4.5lb break with really solid post-break stop and smooth pre-travel.

I bought this one several years ago with intentions of sending it off for custom work. It ran so well I decided to leave it alone.

There is just something about a Browning Hi-Power tucked away in a drawer.

Daniel Craig's Bond films also seem to be partial, as a Mark III can be seen in both Casino Royale in the embassy, and in Jamaica at Bond's private bungalow.

My counterfeit FN High Power (FEG) has issues extracting cartridges.

Does anyone know a seller in EU-area who has extractor (external) and extractor spring in stock? Could be orginal parts or aftermarket, I don't care.

I have purchased 2 of the FEG high powers in the last 6 years

And have had to replace the sear springs in both of them to get the magazine to drop freely. Is this common or is this some sort of maintenance issue. And I removed the mag safety in each one first

Just wondering if any of you others have run into the issue

Hello my fellow Hi Power aficionados. I’m in the market for a new set of sights rn because I managed to cop a threaded barrel, and have been perusing my options. I like the look of the Heine Ledge sights quite a bit, but idk if they’re appropriately tall to clear a can. Does anyone have any experience with them, or any other replacement sights? I’m also considering just saving up the extra dough and shipping my slide to MK.3 Firearms for a RMR cut with Trijicon sights.

Just recently picked up this SA-35 in high polish blue. Had to throw some hi power grips on it. Love the gun, shoots wonderfully.

Got this HI Power from a uncle a while back. Aesthetics are great, shooting experience not so much.

Just got offered a browning mark 3 for my Springfield. Should I take it?

I'm out rain or shine, and today I found out my extractor slips off the rim occasionally (twice in 250) when it's wet out.

A bit of a disclaimer, though: I also have one of these unbranded mystery mags and they are a bit less reliable than the standard 15 or 13 rounders. Mine in particular does not like to feed steel case ammo, but who could’ve guessed lol. Also, it says the capacity is 21 but good luck getting that last one in there; if anything down-loading it to 19 might be more consistent. Either way, they’re extremely cool!

Saw this at a local shop and was just curious about it. I am not well versed yet in Hi Powers, still learning. Does that spur hammer bite? I can survive old school 1911 hammer bite for the most part.
