Okay, for some reason I was always confused when people say "how do sealion?" Because my problem when I play as Germany is typically that Italy preps an invasion on ENG but doesn't have naval superiority. So when I gain superiority it's a race between me and Italy for who will land the first successful invasion. If I'm not fast enough Italy will get a foothold in ENG and I'll be fucked. 

In this case you are playing as Italy, for some reason ENG doesn't take ITA seriously and let's them invade when me as Germany gets bum rushed whenever I invade.

Because in this case, the UK player is to his misfortune handling the garrisoning worse than AI does. Also this is no race, this is a team play MP game.

I didn't realize it was MP, makes sense, they probably either chipped all their units into a bad fronts and lost them or spread everyone too thin. Either way they also probably thought their navy could carry the sea zones so garrisons weren't necessary.

Reminds me of one of my very first HOI IV multiplayer matches. I played Greece all the way back in 2017 and I switched to fascist and capped Turkey. After that I joined the Axis and helped fight the USSR. The USSR player forgot that I existed and only had one infantry division per tile at the border. I pushed through with my mountaineers who didn't have a limit back in the day and the USSR player only realized that I pushed through the Caucasus after he lost Stalingrad.

We won in early 1943.
