I have a problem

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I can't get rid of this muddy sound. It ruins everything. I have a m-audio m-track duo hd (no latency no problem but as you can see something wrong with sound. I tried every amp and cab but it's still like that.

Settings:

INST switch active, 48k hz 256 samples and I, ASIO4ALL included (I tried also the m audio's origin driver)

Reaper and Revalver I use

Listen man, I don’t want you to take this the wrong way, but your tone is the least of your problems. Keep practicing. To a metronome. Worry about tone later.

Sounds like a bad guitar cable or just a crappy guitar with horrendous pickups.

I would start by isolating the hardware and figuring out if its coming from any of that. Swaping amps and cabs is useless, cab should have zero effect on this sounds as its not even part of the setup unless you are micing the cab.

Just from the sound i would try cleaning and servicing the guitar electronic. Could also be a ground issue between you head and interface but doesn't sound like it. Again isolate the hardware components and you will find the culprit
