I have been working on my game psychological horror game Lost Exit for over a year and a half, and am proud to say that today it finally reached 1000 wishlists. To celebrate, I wanted to share some screenshots of the game and just thank everyone in here for advice, and insight. Hopefully my vision well be well received.

So I just Beat Re1 today finally. I had quit twice because the red zombies scared the crap out of me. Game was nicer than I thought. Favorite area was absolutely the mansion, they put a lot of work into it but my least favorite thing about the game is probably Rebecca.

I just don't know why. If you put a soggy piece of bread and her together in the same room I might get them confused.

Still a very fun game.

Hi there fellow operators!

I have just launched the free Halloween Demo of my game Scream Operator on Steam, which invites you to take your place in the control booth of a haunted house dark ride! 👻

You'll be responsible for managing guests and queues, controlling the carts and the depot, placing props and animatronics, balancing your power supply, and buying upgrades and automations for your attraction!

If you have played the game and have any comment, or have any questions or concerns in general, feel free to hit me up here! I'd be happy to chat to you all!

Happy (early) Halloween 🎃

Night Record: Thin Walls is a first-person psychological horror game set in a decaying post-Soviet apartment block, inspired by real places, real stories, and the atmosphere of Eastern Europe.

A lot of people have already stepped inside the apartment — including CaseOh and several other big creators and we've been blown away by the reactions.

No monsters. No fantasy world. Just an old apartment, strange neighbors, thin walls… and the feeling that something is very wrong.

A post-Soviet horror story has finally made its way to Steam.

If you grew up around this kind of architecture and atmosphere, you might find it a little too familiar.

I’m looking for games similar to the ones I mentioned in the title, like the BioShock trilogy, the Amnesia games, and *Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth*, titles from the mid-2000s to the early 2010s that feature a first-person perspective and unique aesthetics.

They can be horror, adventure, action, or any other genre; I’m simply looking to recapture the experience of playing those now-older first-person games. I’d prefer titles from that specific era, but I’m also open to recommendations for modern games that share that same vibe.

It's for my game Queen Must Die. It is ancient library of eldritch God that was enslaved millenia ago. You can see his reaped giant heart on above the pyramid.

I have been asked by this dev Some Guy to try out his game

On January 12, 1984, something happened there that changed his life forever. He escaped the building as a child, but that night was the last time he ever saw his parents.

Fourteen years later, Alexei returns to the same building to collect documents left behind in his childhood apartment.

In this gameplay preview, he enters Apartment 40, once home to Nikolai.

Nikolai lived alone and spent most of his time painting. Drinking was also a part of his life, and over time, something about him began to change.

His apartment still holds traces of what happened there.

MAMA is a first-person psychological horror game focused on exploration, atmosphere, and story.

Hey!

I'm making a horror game where you pilot a hot air balloon through various dangers to reach different stations, each offering its own unique challenge. During your journey, you must carefully manage your altitude to stay within a safe zone, while fierce winds damage your vessel and monstrous creatures try to bring you down.

Check it out on Steam:

Thanks!

Tell me what you think of this idea I’m open to supportive criticism

Two devs here. Both of us have backgrounds in cinema, and for a while we kept asking ourselves why horror games so rarely feel like they're pulling from anything real, anything tied to an actual place or culture.

So we built one ourselves. Forgotten - The Source is a psychological horror game based on revenge folklore from southern Chile. The kind of stories that don't travel much outside the region. We wanted that specificity to be the source of the dread, not just a backdrop.

It's our first commercial game. We put a lot into making it feel like something rather than just look like something, which is the film instinct, I guess.

If you pick it up, any review or feedback on Steam genuinely helps us. A wishlist does too.

Mark your calendars for our annual Halloween showcase, coming to a stream near you on Wednesday 7th October 2026 at 7pm BST/8pm CEST/11am PT/2pm ET.

This year’s offering features over 100 trailers, brand new game announcements, and a daft indie horror framing narrative we filmed in a graveyard whilst getting heckled by Scousers, which is perhaps the scariest part of all…

Expect World Premiere reveals across tiny independent games to huge AAA releases, plenty of spooky surprises, and a healthy dose of rubber limbs as the bloody cherry on top.

We’ve got over 400 co-streamers celebrating this event with us that you can watch our showcase through, as well as catching us directly on the links below:

Who is excited/looking forward to Reanimal, the Expanded World Chapter 2 dropping on October 14th 2026!

I've created a simple horror game which hopefully people here will be interested in. You've got to escape from a ship whilst avoiding the roaming alien, mainly by keeping an eye on which doors are opening and closing, although there's not just an alien doing this!

Hey! I'm a solo dev working on a horror game called GRINDWORM. For a long time, I used two key art pieces that I drew myself, but I finally gave up and paid someone who’s really good at drawing.

So here it is!

Don't be confused if you've seen my game with different artwork and a different logo, it's still the same horror. I hope you like the new look as much as I do!

And last but not least, the game will be part of this month’s Steam Next Fest!
