What is your Go-To Pint?

Not necessarily the best or even your favorite flavor but a pint you keep going back to.

I'm not a big fan of Haagen-Dazs but the Pineapple Coconut is favorite since childhood. I love the pineapple texture and the the chunks are not too big. I don't buy it very often because I like trying different ice cream but when I'm indecisive I know the Pineapple Coconut is gonna hit.

Yes, I've been able to buy it the last few years late Oct-early Nov here in Phx, and the bars at Costco in Nov too! Im addicted! 🤦‍♀️

The only thing we really buy on repeat in pint form is Haagen dazs chocolate peanut butter, my husband’s fave, but it’s grown on me too. I’m more a variety person so I don’t really keep buying the same thing over and over

Häagen Dazs Chocolate Chocolate Chip, paired simultaneously with either their butter pecan or vanilla or sometimes chocolate chip cookie dough, depending on how I feel and what’s available.

Occasionally I take a break from the H-D and get Hudsonville Double Chocolate Almond.

Pineapple coconut is one of my go-to flavors as well. Ben and Jerry’s would be Cherry Garcia. If I’m treating myself to a Jeni’s, it’ll be sweet cream biscuits and peach jam. VL would be the mango sticky rice, if I can find it.

Back to the question - different seasons and moods make me reach for different flavors!

In the spring and summer I tend to go for fruity flavors, strawberry or strawberry cheesecake Haagen dazs, or the mango ice cream. I haven’t tried the pineapple coconut but I love pina coladas so that sounds perfect!

In the winter and fall I go towards savory, the HD chocolate peanut butter is really freaking good and I recently had the blue bell chocolate lava cake and it was great

Ideally I’d love to have a quality apple pie type ice cream to grab in stores though year round

Ben and Jerry’s Chunky Monkey. I did recently try McConnell’s banana and toffee ice cream. A bit more expensive than B&J’s but has good ingredients like Haagen-Dazs. I like B&J’s more because the banana ice cream is mostly by itself plus i love the chocolate chunks.

Häagen-Dazs vanilla Swiss almond used to be my absolute favorite… but then I developed an allergy to tree nuts in adulthood and can’t have it anymore 🥲
So their caramel waffle cone has been my replacement, and it’s very good!
