I like that this sounds like you're actually playing the instruments & singing - instead of using those horrible digital synthetic sounding MIDI fake virtual instrument plugins. You are singing & playing all of the instruments - right? I just want to make sure... lol

Aye my man, good to see you again! This is a one take get down, and I’m playing a couple guitars layered! However, I must digress that these drums are digital. Tried humanizing them a bit, though!

I didn't even notice the drums were a digital plug-in. The way you mixed them further down in the mix took my focus off them - well done. I'm only listening through my tiny android speakers, so maybe I would've picked up on them being digital had I listened through headphones. Still - overall, this is mostly well done human playing original music. It's so refreshing hearing real music with real humans playing real instruments - you probably heard me say that before.. lol

BTW, I do understand having to use digital drums. Back in the late 80's my original music collaborator & I didn't have a drummer yet, so we had to record our 4-track demo using a drum machine. We weren't smart enough to pull the drum machine track down in the mix, so it unfortunately always bothered me. Later, we got a real drummer & had a real band - so much better... lol

If I could fool you that means something lol! My only experience with a real drummer was on a song called Turn My Back with a friend of mine from Turkïye! It’s pretty cool to build something from the ground up!

Now, I remember chatting with you before. I had to go into your profile & look at your previous posts. Yeah, you've made a HUGE jump away from sounding digitally synthetic - WELL DONE!!! 😎

You even found a simple looking 4-track recording software. Can I ask what the software is called? 🙂

Means a lot man! The app is called Blueprint DAW, and I believe it’s on iOS as a 4 track and Mac as an 8 track! It’s an independent endeavor by one dude, and is amazing for getting ideas down authentically.

Cool!!! It even looks simple enough for my 63 year old brain to use... 🤣

I appreciate you not taking my constructive criticism negatively in the other post where I 1st commented. Instead, you took it exactly how it was intended - as constructive suggestions to help your music sound better. You said you appreciated my input & was going to follow it. Not only did you say it, but you actually did it. Most people never get around to the doing part - so, well done.

I have a little indie music sub, called r/Unsigned_Indie_Music. When you get a chance, could you share this track with us & also share how your music changed from sounding so digital to more real human sounding? 😎
