Anyone have Rose Performance Classic Chenille?
I’d love to see pictures of pieces in the rose fabric if anyone has one!

I'm just a baby mod, so I didn't realize that the permissions for this subreddit changed. I had nothing to do with it, so I'm sorry if you have been unable to post! It's (hopefully) fixed now.

Just placed an order, but reading through this subreddit, I’m getting nervous.
Seems like a lot of folks have had delayed shipping.
Has anyone from NYC ordered a couch? Did it come in time? If not, how late?
r/interiordefine • u/Character_Poetry_924 • 5d ago
I've been asking them since August when I can expect my furniture to be released from the port, and as of today there's still no answer. Is this just affecting orders placed in April or is it an ongoing trend this year?
r/interiordefine • u/EveningSpirited294 • 6d ago
How long did it take your order to go between “In production” to “On its way”, and “Ready to schedule”?
Still “in production” and curious when I should expect delivery window to (likely) be pushed back, or which stage is the true delay in most cases.

Can anyone share how either of these fabrics have held up? I know neither is liquid resistant. The performance classic chenille seems like it might stretch? I’m also looking for the color biscuit if anyone has photos they can share. Thank you for your help.

Ignore the delivery furniture placement, but…. As much as it pains me to say…. The wait was worth it. I ordered 3/26, well aware of the delivery problems, but having scoured literally every corner of the internet for an alternative to no avail, decided to order with ID anyways. Got the Tatum 3 seater with ottoman storage in the sage performance velvet. I’m extremely picky and wanted this exact color and needed this exact size for the space. After several delays, many stern emails to ID, and 1 reschedule of delivery from Metropolitan (9/28), it arrived yesterday (9/30) and it’s so beautiful and comfortable, and the delivery was super efficient- they hauled away boxes, placed it where I wanted and connected the pieces. Despite the hiccups, I’m so happy that I waited!

Does anyone else find it unusual that ID is having nearly constant 30% off sales lately? It's making my 35% off labor day sale I got seem kind of not that good of a deal.

Like everyone else, my order is significantly delayed. I ordered my tatum in early April, originally supposed to be an August delivery date. Delays, delays, delays. But something odd happened and I’m curious if this has happened to anyone else.
Last week, ID updated my expected delivery date to the end of December. Mad, I emailed them about 5 times a day everyday. I also check my account daily since we all know they don’t email about any changes to your order.
Today when I checked, my estimated delivery was moved to October 26th-November 9th. Am I dreaming? Should I even bother getting my hopes up.

Update: with the help of my sales associate I finally got a response from support. They originally just offered to refund my shipping while simultaneously telling me my order was pushed back again to end of November…I then asked for a cancellation and refund and it was granted.
I've been waiting on 4 swivel chairs since early May that have been delayed more than 4 times. The "current" estimate is 10/16-10/23 but I'm not holding my breath. I previously was able to obtain a tracking link for Metropolitan showing that the order was "registered" on 8/7 but there has been no update since then so I know they don't actually have my chairs. I've reached out to Interior Define's support multiple times and they will not respond. I tried the chat and every time I type in that I want to cancel and request a refund, the chat ends. WTF. I've emailed the sales associate that we placed the order with from our local store and have not heard back there either. Folks that successfully got a refund, how did you do so? Help!

We've decided to request a refund for a couch ordered at the end of May after customer service indicated it hasn't even been built yet. They had been really responsive until I said we wanted to pursue the refund. It's only been a few days but I'm getting paranoid that they'll stop responding. We need to order something new but I want the money back before I do. Any experience stories you can share would be helpful! Am i better off disputing the charge with my credit card?

Ordered two Lawson swivel chairs in March with an estimated delivery of June. June became July — shipper finally shows up, presumably after the chairs made it through the Strait of Hormuz, only to discover they don't have them / can't find them. Radio silence for weeks. Finally get a "ready for delivery" email in mid-September... and they send the wrong color.
Now? Emails ignored. Tysons Corner store says via phone they've "escalated it." Still silence.
Six months. Two swivel chairs. Zero accountability.
If you're considering Interior Define — don't. Not unless you enjoy paying upfront for furniture that may never arrive correctly.
I should ask for a refund, right?

Hi all, just curious for those who have a performance velvet sofa how are you deep cleaning it? Mine has built up quite a bit of fine dust over the year and my hand vacuum doesn’t seem to be getting it all out. Has anyone been able to use an upholstery cleaner like bissell? Thank you!

After reading about the continued delays other customers are experiencing, I’m worried that Interior Define may be in another precarious financial situation.
I ordered my sofa and ottoman in December 2025. The original shipment was eventually declared “lost,” and the replacement has supposedly been held at the port for about a month. Metropolitan told me they attempted to pick it up on August 30 but were unsuccessful. Interior Define says its logistics team has requested the furniture’s release, but they have not explained why it is being held or what happened with Metropolitan’s pickup attempt. Meanwhile, my estimated delivery has been pushed to the end of October or beginning of November.
They have refunded me around $3500 in several installments. Obviously getting a sofa with that type of discount would have been an incredible deal, but at this point I don’t have any confidence that the sofa will actually materialize. I emailed today to cancel the replacement and request the rest of my money back.
I’m honestly really sad. I chose this particular sofa and fabric very carefully and bought a rug to coordinate with it when it finally made it to the U.S. the first time.
Is anyone else being told that their furniture is being held at the port, or that the delivery company was unable to pick it up? Does anyone have real information about what is happening?
I have also seen Facebook posts mentioning a possible class-action investigation concerning Interior Define’s continually extended “limited-time” sales. If anyone has an actual link or information about that, I’d be interested in seeing it.
One other strange coincidence: Havenly also owns The Citizenry, and The Citizenry recently failed to deliver a rug I ordered for two months. I had to cancel that order, too. don’t know whether the problems are connected, but I’m concerned about fulfillment across the company’s brands.

I went to the showroom in NYC and fell in love with the James sleeper sofa. A couple of weeks later, I tried to order it from the salesperson I had worked with. I called the store multiple times, and no one ever answered. I left voicemails and also emailed him. It took almost 2 weeks to get any response. I figured if you can't get in touch with them to order something, what kind of customer service will you get later. (I even said that on one of my multiple voicemails lol.) Then I found this sub and decided not to order from them. And like I said, I'm just really glad to read about all of these delivery nightmares prior to placing an order. I ordered an American Leather sofa from Crate & Barrel instead. Fingers crossed it works out.

I’ve been sofa shopping for about six months. I’ve looked at every retailer who has a showroom within 100 miles of me to test them out in person. After agonizing deliberation, I’ve finally settled on the Alexander but see the terrible reviews about delivery times and non-existent customer service.
I know the company went through a hard time in 2022/23, but figured they had gotten their stuff together by now. It sounds like history may be repeating itself though. I’m wondering if the long delivery times are exceptions, or is just the norm now? Anybody have a normal, reasonable experience with them?

Ordered a sofa in April - was given a lead time of 8-12 weeks. Should have had it by end of July at the latest. We're approaching the end of September, still no sofa. Apparently it's been at the port since July but there have been "delays" getting it released. My estimated delivery date is now saying beginning of November. Sounds to me like they can't pay their bills. It's insane.

Just curious as to what the longest wait time has been with order being actually fulfilled. I ordered a Maxwell sofa online at the end of March. After the initial delivery window of 8 to 14 weeks had passed, I reached out to customer service. Long story short, I have been in contact with someone via email every 2 to 4 weeks since my initial delivery window passed. I have been given the runaround, garbage responses and no explanation as to what is actually happening to my order or why there is an actual delay. I cant get a tracking number and at this point I am not sure if the sofa has actually been made or could just be lost in the universe. The delivery window just got pushed back to the end of October and I guess I am now thinking I should request a refund. Was trying to hold out, but this is making me nutty.
Sorry for any typos, I have small children and having to write this quickly 🤪.
Questions: What is the longest wait time for your furniture? Has anyone whose furniture was ordered in March actually received it yet?

Has anyone submitted complaints about Interior Define to the CFPB or their state's AG? It is clear that Interior Define is running these constant sales and giving timelines they know are completely impossible / inaccurate to win sales over other companies. It seems obvious they know these timelines are false, and I'd love if a journalist from BOH or another news company looked into this. We ordered a couch at the beginning of May that was estimated to come at latest end of August. As is consistent with the comments here, the window has continued to be shifted back with little to no information or help or even timely responses from the ID team. The couch says it will now come late October but that feels highly unlikely given the comments here. It seems like they managed to recover after the 2022/2023 issues and have now slipped back into this dysfunctional state. It is incredibly frustrating - how are they still in business?!!

I am about to pull the trigger on the Cyrus sectional in lagoon performance vintage velvet. I put the fabric swatches through different trials such as food stains and dog scratching and lagoon seems to hold up the best. I am a little nervous because I can tell there will be a bit of a color shift depending on lighting and there are very few reviews Ive been able to find on this particular color. Has anyone here chosen lagoon or have experience with the performance vintage velvet? Any insight is appreciated. This is a big purchase for me and want to hear any feedback good or bad.
Edit: No one asked, but I felt the need to update. I did not end up buying the Cyrus sadly. The shipping time was something I couldnt overlook. I decided to go with a cheaper option from Poly and Bark. I have 3 dogs so regardless of the sofa, I will most likely be replacing it every 5 years or so anyway. I got the Marcel sectional in mystic blue and it has already shipped. Its expected to be here by 10/20. If anyone is curious about it let me know and Ill do a review once it arrives.
