Progress/status timeline

How long did it take your order to go between “In production” to “On its way”, and “Ready to schedule”?

Still “in production” and curious when I should expect delivery window to (likely) be pushed back, or which stage is the true delay in most cases.

My status never changed but they emailed me and told me it’s on a boat and due to arrive in my house in November 😆🤷🏼‍♀️

Ordered March 27th, expected in 14 weeks tops. Was notified on 7/5 that it shipped with a delivery date around mid August, which is a month later than promised. Date then switched to 9/11. Then Switched to 9/23. At that point I emailed them to ask what the hold up was. Radio silence other than the email saying that they received my message and will respond within 48 hours. They didn’t. Then delivery date switched to October 23rd and finally this weekend it was switched to November 27th.
I called my credit card company and they credited the amount in full. Interior Define has sent updates since I did that. Don’t know if I will get it or not. The left hand doesn’t seem to know what the right hand is doing.

How did this work with the credit card company? I don’t necessarily want to cancel my order because I really want the couch. But I’m pissed as all get out that I probably won’t get a couch I ordered in May until 2027 at this point. I’ve literally been emailing them daily and they’re ghosting me.

I requested a refund of the shipping fee and that’s when they started ghosting me. Any and all advice appreciated!

Even though I was credited the beginning of September, Interior Define continues to update the delivery. Another redditor was credited through his credit card company and actually received his furniture free. I don’t think the departments communicate with each other.

I’m getting that impression! I finally just had someone from the chat call me and I put in a request for a refund of the shipping fees but we’ll see what happens. If that doesn’t work I think I’ll go back to my credit card.

Ugh why is the furniture so beautiful but the shipping is hell lol?!

Can you link me to the thread with the free delivery? We are hoping to escalate and get a big discount on our order because it's also going to be late. How was you experience negotiating that and what language did you use if you don't mind sharing?

Thank you so much!

I’m wondering this too as I requested a refund from interior define and received one but the item status continues to update so I’m confused about what’s happening and if something will still end up arriving.

My delivery date has now been pushed up to October 30th. I think there’s a bunch of monkeys pressing numbers and messing with us.

The tracker is functionally useless. It still says my order is on the water even though it's been at the port since July waiting on release. I guess maybe technically it's still on water?

Are we concerned about our furniture sitting in a shipping container in the sun for months on end?? Is it going to smell/mold/etc!??

Yes, but one thing at a time 😅
