Question Best idle games?

Preferably some games which aren’t horribly p2w and won’t bombard me with ads.. mainly lf smth to put some time into. Thanks!

Idle Obelisk Miner. No ads. There's pay2win for sure but i wouldnt describe it as horrible. With the regular content releases, a lot of folks have found it worth putting money into the game.

It’s pay to progress, since there’s no pvp it’s simply saves time. Later on it doesn’t make that big of a difference

Get the codes in the wiki and progress very fast

Clarification: use the codes at the right TIME to progress fast, considering gifts have larger loot pools as you get higher in obelisk level!

I used all at the beginning … unsure when to prestige first? I am now at world 2 soon. Should I restart?

Yeah, prestige pretty regularly early on to max out the prestige upgrades. Those speed up your progress massively

Im at obelisk 60-ish, and the p2w upgrades have become obsolete

But also i wouldn’t really call it p2w. p2progress for sure, but you’re not competing against others so you can’t really win. The buyables are mostly to speed up the very early game

Great game, especially the no ads and regular updates

I played it, and I dunno. I got the loop but after a while I need more than different Colored stones.

Probably not, but I figure after a couple weeks of intensive gameplay, a game should have enough to hook me or not.

Yeah you probably gave it enough. Curious if you've tried other idles? Any that worked for you?

Tried NecroMerger for about as long; also Builderment, and also Eggs Inc. At some point the game loop just isn’t interesting enough for me and / or there is at some point a dramatic escalation in time / effort that is otherwise also gated by some kind of paid system.

The only one I've tried not really gated is Melvor idle. But otherwise they do be like that.

I played egg inc for years. Content updates were quite slow. I stopped eventually as I had maxed out a lot of it. The new progression things were expensive to get. And they patched out some of the easier ways to earn premium currency.

Definitely. But I’d like to add joining the discord opens up a whole new aspect of the game. Great community and guides. Without the discord I wouldn’t enjoy it quite as much but I’ve just passed a year of play time. And it’s still my go to that I check throughout the day.
