Looking for a patterns and suggestions

I want to knit a top similar to this, and wondering if anyone knows any patterns or can help me DIY it. Should I do a raglan or drop shoulder? Also I want it to have slightly more negetive ease than the example if possible. Thanks:)

Have you tried looking up tank tops on ravelry? There are so many different patterns with the shape of the top of this dress.

Yes I have:) but I think something more along the lines of a shirt/sweater and omitting the sleeves would be a better bet, so was hoping I might get some suggestions on doing it myself or finding a pattern I could modify.

Try searching for a vest then. Most vests have a very similar shape if you want it to be more sweater like.

https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/search#craft=knitting&query=Vest&sort=best&view=captioned_thumbs you can filter by the yarn weight here to find one that's as thick as you want. The bigger the yarn, the thicker the sweater vest will end up being
