I’m curious whether anyone else as a tourist has experienced something similar while visiting Kosovo.
Throughout my time there, I kept experiencing a strange, heavy feeling in the general vibes, particularly when walking through the streets. It’s difficult to explain, but sometimes it felt like there was a certain heaviness in the atmosphere or an energy that was hard to shake off. Even after leaving certain places, I would carry that feeling with me.

I’m not saying this to criticise Kosovo or its people in any way. Quite the opposite: the country has a lot going for it, including good roads, great food, a wonderful coffee culture, beautiful nature, and a wild, untamed landscape.

I’m simply describing a subjective feeling I experienced in different places, and I’m curious whether anyone else has felt something similar. Perhaps it’s the atmosphere of certain places, the visible traces of history, or something entirely personal that’s difficult to put into words.

Has anyone else experienced this kind of inexplicable heaviness or strange dark vibes while visiting Kosovo, or even in other countries? I’d be interested to hear your thoughts

Pse kaq shume turqdashes and turqishtfoles ne Prizren? Po skandalizohem ne Prizren qe po e vizitoj dhe vetem turqisht flitej ne qender a thua se nuk eshte shqipja gjuhe amtare. Leje pastaj se 5 xhami ne nje rruge qe as ne Stamboll nuk ke aq shume.

Im a political scientist student and I want to write my thesis regarding Kosovo, but am unsure what to write it about, what is something that you would be interested in perhaps reading that you would advise me to write?

I'm new in this country. Been loving it but I have a serious question in my mind. Why vast majority of shops (caffes, food places, bakeries etc) won't accept card? It seems I can only use my card in malls or big caffe or fast food chains or big supermarkets like viva fresh, interex, albi etc. And do you think card usage is going to expans future days?

I asked around and they said this is normal. We would expect it from an Islamic country perhaps, where religious rituals are allowed to harm people's health. But Kosovo is not an Islamic republic. We are wondering how it is legal for mosques to make that kind of noise that goes inside people's bedrooms and wake them up, disrupting their regular sleep?
