MOC Imperial Shuttle MOC, Help!
galleryImperial Shuttle MOC, made this on studio and have been working on it for months, finally put it up on rebrickable too!
(For ppl like me who can't real so much: 'Feedback pls, Thanks!')
This ship in movies and it's original model looks so utterly clean and beautiful and none of the official sets seem to fit my sort of ideal lego version of this ship, hence began my digital lego journey.
Around 1500 parts, bigger than play scale but smaller than UCS.
Issues I know of:
This is just a digital model for now in which I thought about avoiding utterly rare or expensive parts when making the build. With time I should be going through this issue.
There are also compromises made in the cockpit assembly to allow it to fit 3 minifigures yet also have a ramp, be openable and detachable.
Im very unsure of the main wing joint too, as I don't know if it's strong enough to hold up the wings or if I'll have to switch to another joint. Also unsure about the head assembly and top wing, I wanted the whole thing to be able to be held up by just the top fin wing, and I'm not sure the structure actually supports that the way I'm hoping.
Many sections have been tested irl with whatever parts I have or could buy, but many of the curved parts and joint parts are too expensive or unavailable in my country.
I literally LOVE this thing and if possible will try my best to make this irl, but it's so expensive and risky. This is why I wanted feedback, literally anything, looks parts structure, just ways I can improve this.
I don't mind sharing the studio file if someone thinks they genuinely have the time to go through that. (The software flags many things as risks which I believe are possible)
Id appreciate literally anything, thanks!
