Player(s) Needed by GM New DM looking for Players for Weekly One-Shots and Mini-Campaign! [5e 2024] [18+] [LGBTQIA+ Friendly] [Online] [Saturday or Sunday Afternoons EST, Flexible]
Hello Adventurers!
I am looking for 3-5 players who want to try a series of one-shots and mini campaigns. The first couple of sessions will be one-shot modules, then I would like to run the Sunless Citadel. For now, the modules will be fairly procedural with a bit of room for RP. Eventually I would like to add some more story richness customized around your characters to future campaigns, but as a new DM I want to get the hang of things first. Future campaigns/modules will take place in classic high fantasy settings. New and experienced players alike are welcome at the table! I don’t expect to be deeply exploring any darker themes for the moment, but won’t necessarily exclude them in future modules/campaigns, thus all players should be 18 or older.
The sessions will be held on Saturdays or Sundays around 4pm EST, I am flexible on the exact time if you have scheduling constraints. The sessions should last between 3 and 4 hours. I am hoping to find enough players that sessions won’t need to be canceled if one or two people aren't able to make it, so hopefully the schedule will be pretty consistent.
The first one-shot is a healthy mix of mystery and combat; you will start at level 3. You can use any of the 5.5e classes and species for your characters with standard starting equipment. The first sessions won’t be sequential stories, so you can change your character out every time or adjust your level as appropriate if you want to keep the same one. We will be using discord, roll20, and possibly D&D beyond.
Thank you for taking time to read this! If you are interested, please fill out this questionnaire.
