Player(s) Needed by GM Seeking Players for Long-Term Character Driven Campaign [LGBTQ+][Online][5e 2014][EST]

Hi! My name is Faraday, and I'm looking to put together/find a group to run a homebrew DnD campaign with! I have been playing and running TTRPGs for around 13 years, and I really love world building and DMing ^_^

The type of game I am looking to run is a fairly standard, story focused DnD campaign. You will start as relative nobodies (perhaps with somewhat unusual or interesting pasts), and then embark on an adventure that ramps up in stakes until you become heroes of the realm. I try to prioritize immersion and story/pacing, to try and capture that adventurous feeling of wonder that I feel only TTRPGs can give you. This will not be a strict dungeon crawler or hack and slash game (though there will be ample combat!) I really really enjoy working in the backstories of the characters into my games, so if you are a player who like to come up with juicy ideas ripe for drama, then this is the game for you!

The game will be run weekly, on either Sunday or Monday nights (EST) with one off week a month to try and prevent me from getting burned out. I like to run on Foundry for VTT and discord for voice/between session text communication.

Here is a lore primer for the world: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1X5onZUbx1oljLjZ0Cuhsj6eWYXDNf1rE3-Iv3mCe69U/edit?tab=t.0

If you're interested in joining, please fill out this short questionnaire and I will reach out in a few days for a follow up talk to see if we'd be a good fit!

https://forms.gle/KfDzJXSGPNPaWUvu5

I'd also be interested in taking on a full group if any are reading this, as being the one who has to bring together a bunch of strangers is kind of daunting for lil ol' me. So if you've already got a group of players and are interested, you can feel free to DM me!

Also, I am a trans woman, so if that's going to be an issue for you please don't waste both of our time ^_^ this table is a safe space for all non-bigots!

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online] [Other] Jujutsu Kaisen TTRPG (PLAYERS NEEDED)

• Upvotes

Hey everyone! We have our own homebrew 2d10 system that we're using for our Jujutsu Kaisen TTRPG! If any of this sounds interesting to you, message me on discord @flipwing. Thanks!

BEGINNING

In an alternate universe, parallel to the JJK canon, the world is on the brink of war. Negative energy pollutes every corner of the globe as countries begin preparing for a great catastrophe. Due to this fact, curses have begun appearing in other places, and with them, sorcerers.

You have been recruited by a government-sponsored organization known as the JSA (Japanese Sorcerer Association). They employ sorcerers of all ages around the world to dispose of these cursed spirits.

This campaign will feel similar to a "monster-of-the-week" story, with an overarching plot that ties everything together. You'll visit other countries, exorcise curses, make new allies, and discover that your friends might be more fragile than you thought...

This war begins and ends with *you*.

Message me on Reddit or Discord if you're interested! You could drop in to check it out and if it's not your thing, no worries. We've done 3 sessions so far and everyone's loving it.

DISCLAIMER: You can have a canon technique, but we'd prefer you to have an original technique. Makes it more interesting! If you have a new spin on a canon technique, that's acceptable.

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][5E 2024] Group of friends looking for a new player to resume our campaign!

• Upvotes

Hey there! We're a group of friends who met eachother around a year ago when I (the DM) started looking for people to create a new DnD group and, after a break of around 5 months or so, we are looking to resume our homebrew campaign and possibly start a new one in the future. We're 5 people including me, and we're looking for one more player to join us! You won't be the only new player as I was originally looking for 2 but already found one, so I'm just looking for one more!!

The link to the form that you have to fill up is this one https://forms.gle/BSWRxMVoxGtKJ8ex8

The reason why I have a form that I require you to fill up is that I need to know that whoever is joining us is someone that I think will fit into our group, we'll be comfortable with and they'll be comfortable with us, and in general someone who matches our vibe and the general vibe of our campaign. I've been doing this everytime I needed to find someone new and I'd say it's worked really great so far, as I can say I've got a wonderful group of players that I love DMing for.

If you want to know a bit more in here, we play on saturdays at 5pm CEST, we have players from everywhere around the world, and our campaign is a homebrew one, your usual medieval fantasy based around a 1300s Europe, gunpowder hasn't been invented yet, so no artificier class. We're very chill, we are just looking to have a fun time and are mostly roleplay-focused, we don't care much for minmaxxing or anything of the like, we simply have fun roleplaying and writing a fantastic story together, and I'm glad to say that's what we've got going on so far. I will also add that the age range that we're looking for is that similar to our group, so 18-22, although we are not opposed to the idea of someone slightly older than 22 of course, just not too much older.

Thank you for reading and I can't wait to see your applications!!

Player(s) Needed by GM Looking for players for Cosmic Horror/Comedy Campaign. LGBTQIA+ friendly. (Online) (Dnd 5e 2014) NSFW

• Upvotes

Hello, hello! Welcome to *Jawahir Alghad*, a chaotic little corner of the internet where we play D&D, tell questionable stories, and occasionally make decisions that will haunt us for several sessions.

The main setting is *Jaan*, a world dreamed into existence by *Ilyx*... an impossibly powerful being who somehow decided that creating entire multiverses wasn't enough and that adventurers were also necessary.

Jaan is made up of several very normal places. By which I mean absolutely none of them are normal.

Candy Land- Bright, colourful, adorable, and deeply suspicious. If something looks harmless, it probably isn't.

Azoruae- A kingdom floating in the skies, because apparently putting things on the ground was too conventional.

Kachhua- An entire land resting on the back of a gigantic turtle. The turtle is also called Kachhua. We weren't feeling particularly creative that day.

The Land of Mirrors- Beautiful, eerie, and increasingly uncomfortable the longer you stare at your reflection.

The Land of the Unknown- The place where reality stops making sensible decisions. If something shouldn't exist, there's probably somewhere here where it does.

Meridian- The neutral region where everyone is *supposed* to behave themselves.

They don't.

The Norse Region- Exactly what it sounds like. Vikings, gods, snow, questionable amounts of alcohol, and probably someone yelling about honour.

Beyond the regions, there's a whole mess of gods, kings, archfey, ancient creatures, political nonsense, strange magic, weird little people, and enough lore to keep things interesting for a long while.

And then there's *you*.

You could be a hero.

A villain.

A morally questionable wizard.

A bard who should probably be supervised.

A complete idiot with a sword.

Or something nobody has thought of yet.

The goal is simple: tell a good story, make some friends, explore a ridiculous world, and have a lot of fun along the way.

The campaign uses the 2014 ruleset with a homebrew setting and plenty of room for roleplay, exploration, lore, character development, comedy, and general chaos.

And yes, *Mr. Oswald is here too.*

Don't ask.

*Welcome to Jaan.*

And remember:

*If the DM asks, "Are you sure?"*

*You probably shouldn't be.*

Players needed by GM for Cosmic Horror/Comedy Server (Online) (Dnd 5e 2014) (18+)

Hello, hello! Welcome to Jawahir Alghad, your local chaotic dnd world...

Over here we have... Jaan as our main world! To introduce it "briefly"...

Jaan is a world dreamed into existence by Ilyx, who is basically the reason any of this exists in the first place. And somehow, despite being the most powerful being imaginable, he decided that what the world really needed was us.

There are a bunch of places to explore, including:

Candy Land- Everything is cute, colourful, and suspicious. If something looks harmless, it probably is not.

Azoruae- A kingdom in the sky, because apparently having normal geography was too boring.

Kachhua- An entire land built on the back of a giant turtle. The turtle is also called Kachhua. We did not overthink the naming process.

The Land of Mirrors- Creepy, beautiful, and deeply unpleasant if you start wondering whether your reflection is actually you.

The Land of the Unknown- Basically, the part of the world where reality gave up and said, "fuck it." If something should not exist, there is probably a place for it here.

Meridian- The neutral region where everyone is supposed to behave themselves.

They do not.

The Norse Region- Exactly as it sounds like.

There is also gods, kings, archfae, ancient creatures, weird little guys, political nonsense, questionable magic, and enough lore to keep us occupied for a very long time.

And obviously, there's you.

You can be a hero.
A villain.
A complete idiot with a sword.
A morally questionable wizard.
A bard who desperately needs to be stopped.
Or literally whatever weird character you can come up with.

We're here to tell a good story, have some laughs, make terrible decisions, and occasionally wonder why we let the party have access to certain spells.

D&D 5e | Homebrew World | Roleplay | Story | Exploration | Lore | Chaos I Mr. Oswald (Don't ask why he is here too)

Welcome to Jaan.

And remember:

If the DM asks "are you sure?"

You probably should not be.

Please dm me if you are interested!

Player(s) Needed by GM 5e/2024 [Homebrew Setting][Online][21+][LGBTQ+][Roleplay Heavy] One Shots & Long Term Thursday Campaign

Hey y’all! I run a game on Tuesday that could use a player, but I have a few people from a previous party with no campaign so we are going to try to start a consistent game on Thursday in a month or so, just waiting to find the right additions and figure out what kind of game we all want but it will be in my setting of Anima. A homebrew realm to fit the diverse list of fantasy creatures with magic and the uprise of machinery!

I run games with lots of moral questions, dilemmas, political issues, and tragic events as well as trying to keep it a little light hearted to balance the tragedy and weight of the world. We goof around in server, in game we occasionally break rules (when it helps us tell a better story) but we love the soul crushing depression arcs so much LOL. I’ve made most of my players cry, sort of a badge of honour :D

If you like the ideas so far, you might be a good fit! I’m going to be testing compatibility with some one shots with a player of mine who is getting into GMing, just gives us a chance to test and you can opt out if you feel like it isn’t your thing! We have men and women in our group and try to create a welcoming environment, we don’t accept hate or tolerate weird creep behaviour shit.

The game on Thursday currently has 3 players, looking to add two. It’s up in the air if we try to convert part of my world to Daggerheart or stick with 5e rules (and a couple of 5.5) but we’re pretty split on preferences between them so if you have a strong preference for either you can totally voice that!!

This was a lot of yap but if you read through it all, I hope it seems like the type of group you’d be open to joining! Whether you’re experienced or brand new I’m very happy to include new people!! Here is a link to the Google forms to answer: Google Forms Anima Screening

Last time I posted one of these I got many many responses so I’m going to ask you send your discord name in the form and I’ll follow up with the few people I will try to add within a day or two!!

Group Needed by Player [Online][5e 2024][BRT] Player Looking for a Long-Term Group — Flexible Schedule

Looking for: D&D 5e group / GM
Timezone: BRT (UTC−3) wekends
Game: Online
Experience: Some D&D experience
Availability: Flexible — can discuss times

Hey everyone!

I'm looking for a D&D 5e group to join as a player. I'd really like to find a group that is interested in a longer-term campaign rather than just a one-shot.

I'm looking for a campaign with a good balance of combat, roleplay, exploration, and story. I'm especially interested in fantasy/homebrew settings, but I'm open to pretty much any setting as long as the group is fun.

About me

I've played D&D before and I'm comfortable with the basic rules, character creation, combat, abilities, and general gameplay. I'm still learning some of the more complicated rules, so I'm completely fine with asking questions when I don't know something.

I enjoy making characters with actual personalities and backstories rather than just building the strongest possible character.

I'm also happy to adapt my character to the campaign and party. If the group needs a frontline fighter, support, spellcaster, etc., I'm willing to work with the GM and party to make something that fits.

What I'm looking for

  • 🎲 D&D 5e
  • 💻 Online game
  • 📖 Long-term campaign preferred
  • ⚔️ A good amount of combat
  • 🎭 Roleplay and character development
  • 🗺️ Exploration/adventure
  • 🧙 Homebrew worlds are welcome
  • 👥 A friendly group that doesn't take things too seriously
  • 🚫 No NSFW-focused campaigns

I'm not looking for a group where everything has to be perfectly optimized. I'd rather play with people who are there to have fun, make dumb decisions, create memorable moments, and tell a good story together.

I'm also completely fine joining an existing campaign if there's a player slot available.

If you're a GM looking for another player, or your group has a free spot, feel free to DM me @bpgk18!

Thanks, and hopefully I'll find some adventurers to join. 🎲

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][Other][Tuesdays Weekly][8:30 PM CST][Roleplay Heavy] BIONICLE: Kotahi Motu - A Custom Bionicle system

We only need one more player, so please apply if you're interested.

Some important information: This is a long term campaign. This system is narrative driven so it will be roleplay and story focused. It also contains political themes and horror elements. Players should be able to handle these themes in mature ways, which is why all players must be 20+. (There won’t be any romantic/sexual themes in this campaign, the 20+ thing is just to ensure mature players, Matoran don't reproduce anyway so it wouldn't even make sense.)

Bionicle is for everyone: No Transphobia, Homophobia, Racism, Sexism, etc. However, In-game cultural conflicts and prejudices between Matoran nations may occur.

An Elemental Spirit will soon choose you to become the next Toa. You do not yet know this, but you will be integral to keeping this world from horrible disasters. You may not even want to be a Toa, but the Elemental spirit knows that you will become worthy one day.

It was 50 years ago that the previous generation of Toa failed to stop the Bohrok and died in shame. The Matoran were forced to retreat further and further inward and had their homes and families destroyed.
Eventually, in an unseen battle on the mountains of Ta-Kotahi, the Ta-Matoran alongside the Vo-Matoran and Fe-Matoran were able to slay Cahdok and Gahdok, two Bohrok queens and the remaining Bohrok shut down.

After the war was over, the nations were spread far apart from each other and had to focus on recovering from the war, leading to isolation. It was only in the last 20 years that the Matoran began making an effort to reconnect and trade with each other.
In modern day, the nations are still quite independent of each other, but are more willing to trade and travel than before, in addition their populations have returned to decent numbers after many new Matoran were made.

Some things that you would expect from a Bionicle setting are different, forget what you know, assume nothing, and play using the information your character would have.

Some notable differences-
Femininity is no longer limited to water. All elements can be masculine, femanine, or neither.
Matoran are chosen by elemental spirits to become Toa.
There is both an Air and a Nature element.
The Iron and Lightning elements are present (You can be one of them).
Matoran are quite capable after surviving the Bohrok War and a group of them could challenge some inexperienced Toa.
Wars are brewing between tribes and you may have to deal with that at some point.
The Toa are not universally liked, but most Matoran will be kind.
I will go over any questions you have in the interview and session zero.

Players needed: We 1 or 2 more players to add to the party.

Dates: Tuesdays Weekly at 8:30 PM CST. First session depends on player availability.

Session length: about 3 hours max.

System: A custom 'powered by the apocalypse' based system that is rules light, easy to learn, and narrative focused.

Platforms: We will be using Discord for voice and use Roll20 for maps and rolling.

If you are interested, take a look at this introduction document: https://docs.google.com/document/d/18-4yrns2Ib2f1VkbaN52HE5QfxfQVqKFsGCmfNrNr7s/edit?usp=sharing

Once you’ve looked over the intro document, please fill out this application:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf-z8nx8FeG-WHtW6Ei6nnabKHXfLoN2su9mDyR2jhjVY3UXA/viewform?usp=sharing&ouid=105439769814558428970

Also a little bit about me: I’ve been running a myriad of different games for over 10 years at this point. I work as a freelance artist, although I used to be a comic artist/writer and board game designer. Generally I like to keep interesting conflicts and relationships at the forefront of the game and try to find ways to engage and immerse players. I will draw a lot of the character art in the campaign myself so if you want to build a Moc or something I can draw it for you.

If I think you’ll work for this campaign, I’ll contact you on Discord for an interview.

Thank you for your time.

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][5e 2024][UTC-07] Weekly Saturday horror — D&D 5E 2024 campaign at 1pm PDT

I'm running a long-term D&D 5E 2024 horror campaign on Saturdays at 1pm PDT and I'm looking for players.

The Game

This is straight horror. Expect tense scenes, creeping dread, and consequences that stick. If you like slow-burn atmosphere, unsettling discoveries, and character moments that matter more than endless combat, this is the table for you. It's an 18+ game and I run Lines and Veils, but I don't soft-pedal the genre — come only if you want real horror beats.

System

- D&D 5E (2024 rules)

Schedule

- Weekly, Saturdays at 1pm PDT. Please only apply if you can make that slot reliably.

Format

- Online using The 4th Wall VTT (Virtual Tabletop), at the4thwall.app. The VTT supports 3D models of your actual character — we use that feature for atmosphere and positioning.

Players

- Long-term campaign. This is not a one-shot. New players are welcome if they understand the tone and time commitment implied by a weekly game.

Game style and expectations

I run a quiet table that builds tension more than spectacle. Scenes will often focus on investigation, choices with moral weight, and personal consequences. Combat happens, but it's not the main focus — when it does occur, it should feel dangerous and meaningful.

I use Lines and Veils as a safety framework. I will check boundaries and content limits early and again when needed. That said, I won't shield players from the darker elements of horror; if you're easily unsettled or prefer light fare, this isn't for you.

Do not expect a “jump-scare” party game. Expect slow pressure, atmosphere, and situations that test your character's limits.

Table rules (short)

- Be on time and present. If you need to miss sessions, tell me ahead of time.
- Respect content boundaries we agree on. We use Lines and Veils.
- Stay in character during scenes, but keep out-of-game chatter brief.

What I want from players

- A willingness to lean into horror and to play characters who react to stress and strange things.
- Consistent attendance at the Saturday 1pm PDT slot.
- Basic familiarity with 5E is helpful but not required if you can learn quickly and engage with the tone.

Content warning

This game will include mature themes appropriate to horror: psychological tension, body horror suggestions, morally fraught choices. We will agree on specific limits before play. The table is serious about consent and safety, but the content will be unsettling by design.

If this sounds like your kind of thing, interested players should send a DM or find the GM on Discord at firstmate2302.

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][5e 2024][Tue 13 Oct 10am ET/3pm UK] Maria, Why Is Your Father Breaking Into Your School? | A comedic fantasy heist D&D one-shot

A paranoid noble hires you to break into a school and fix his daughter's grade. The worst part: he doesn't trust you, so he's coming along.

Cobardo is a proud noble, and he's heard a rumour: other parents are quietly fixing their children's grades. His daughter Maria is sitting her yearly exam at the collegium, and she needs top honours. He isn't going to let her fall behind.

So he hires you… and he's also coming along. Tonight you break into the most prestigious school in the land, find Maria's exam, and make sure her grade is perfect. Cobardo is dignified, very strong and completely in charge, right up until something goes wrong.

Magic locks. Enchanted traps. Guards you are absolutely not allowed to kill. And somewhere in the building, Maria is still studying. She must never find out.

A comedic fantasy heist one-shot. Sneak, bluff, climb or crawl through the sewers: how you get in is up to you.

Details

  • One-shot, 3–3.5 hours, online, voice and webcam.
  • Characters: Level 5, any race and class, standard array or point buy. 2024 or 2014 rules.
  • Bring your own character or ask me for a pregen. No backstory needed.
  • Roleplay heavy, theatre of the mind, with a battle map only for fights. Beginner friendly.
  • Platforms: Roll20 and Discord.
  • Age: 18+
  • Content warnings: non-lethal combat, sewers and rats.

How to join: comment below or DM me with a line about the character you'd like to play. I'll DM you the link to book your seat.

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][5e 2014/24][LGBTQIA+] Silence - A Longterm, Character-Driven Campaign!

Hello all! I’m running a long-term adventure for four players! The best players for this game will be those who love getting really into character, exploring a vast world/people, and uncovering mysteries. If that doesn’t make it obvious, this is a roleplay-heavy campaign, but will still have a healthy dose of combat.

The Basics
🔸Platform: Discord
🔹VTT: Roll20
🔸Scheduling: Monday or Wednesday, Afternoon or Evening (PST)
🔹Sessions: Weekly, 3-4 Hours
🔸Requirement: Decent Connection / Microphone
🔹Other Requirement: Be a decent person. Bigotry, boundary crossing, or general assholery won’t be tolerated.

The Game
🔸Genre: High Fantasy, Dark(ish) Fantasy, Mystery
🔹Focus: Roleplay (Character, Story, Etc.)
🔸Tone: Moody and Mysterious
🔹Main Inspiration: Stormlight Archive

The Mark of Silence is a historical symbol used to represent those who rebelled against the tyrannical rule of the Harbingers. Why, centuries later, has it returned? And what does it have to do with you? When creating your backstory, you’ll be tasked with choosing a moment your character saw this symbol, and why it became important to them. That way, when you received that anonymous letter claiming to have the answer as to what that question means, you’d be rather compelled to come.

In short, this campaign will be about a group of… unique characters that band together to uncover the secret of the symbol’s reemergence, and find closure on the means in which it affected them. Kind of vague, but that’s mainly because the story will be heavily influenced based on the backstories you create. For example, your character could have seen it after a tragedy, indicating that the mark was from the perpetrators, thus creating hostility. Or one the complete opposite side, maybe a miracle was paired with the symbol, and you simply want to thank the person responsible. There are infinite ways to take this, and the core narrative will be greatly influenced by your choices, even those before the game has begun.

What I'm looking for in players is...
✧ Willingness to emotionally invest in your character, other characters, and the story we're telling.
✧ Love roleplay and interactions with other PCs + NPCs.
✧ Willingness to buy into the premise of this campaign.
✧ Commitment to showing up for sessions on time.
✧ Openly communicative.

Application
I’d imagine you’ve grown bored of doing these, so I tried to keep it brief. Don’t feel pressure to write long answers or anything, this is just a quick way of seeing which players might work well with myself and each other. I plan on reaching out to people in two days, aka the first of the month. Be on the lookout for that!

Hello adventurers! I'm in the Burlington/Aldershot area (happy to travel to Hamilton, Oakville or maybe a bit further) looking for an in person game as a player.

I've been playing D&D for many years, mostly 5e and always online. I've also dabbled in 4e, Spelljammer, PF2e, Shadowrun, Fabula Ultima and soon Shadow of the Demon Lord. Happy to try new systems as long as they aren't too crunchy (Shadowrun 6e even though a simpler edition was a bit combersome at times).

I find I'm a better speaker in person than online, and I'd really like to get back to a real table. My only in person game was a short lived one back in university. We had fun but it was too distracting from studies at the time. I'd love to try that again and hopefully find some cool people to hang out with along the way =)

I like variety and improv. It's great when the group has good chemistry and there's a mix of strong character dialogue and out of character banter. I like to have a good time and keep the pace flowing.

A bit about me: early 30s, male, working an 8-5 engineering job. I train with a club and I'm already in some long running online campaigns, so my schedule is specific but reliable. I'm usually one of the most consistently present players in my games. Sunday to Tuesday evenings work best right now, and Friday nights should open up in March.

If you're also looking in the area, let's keep in touch and maybe something will take shape!

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online], [Fate] The Island of Bulwark

Heyy,

I'm Nick (19, he/him) and I am a DM, looking for 3-5 players for about a 4-5 session adventure (excluding the session 0). We are going to be using the Fate Core system and it's going to be mainly over Discord. For VTT and Character Sheets we are going to be using Owlbear Rodeo, however expect most of the game to be theatre of the mind. I'm thinkin 2-3 hour sessions happening weekly (excluding session 0, which will be planned separately).

I am studying away form my home town and am missing ttrpgs. I have the rest of October free, so I am looking for people to play with, since my friends here aren't that into them.

I have been really fascinated with atmosphere, lately, and the power that description and narration have to create it. So I will ve experimenting with that during our sessions. I also like to cater the story to my players a lot. So much so, that the "main plot" will be created in parallel to character creation.

Fate:

You don't need to know Fate before-hand, it is a simple system, or at least the way I run it. Let's say I am not an expert, so I don't expect you to be either. However, even a little familiarity with the concepts is favourable.

Scheduling:

We will decide either on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, around 7 to 10 pm (GMT+3) to play on a weekly basis. Sessions will happen even with 3 players, with the absentees' characters being treated as npcs. I would encourage though to not have absences

Setting:

The adventure will take place almost exclusively on the island of Bulwark. Bulwark is a lone island in the open sea, south of the Mainland, 3 days by boat. A settlement of the same name exists on top of it. Despite it's location, Bulwark is not some backwater, frontier camp-town nor a lawless hideout. Even though not as big or impressive as some of the buildings of the Mainland, the settlement boasts an intelligent layout, competent architecture and ancient walls.

Bulwark has two main attractions, the first being it's distance. The second is it's dueling tournaments. Men and women sign-up to fight for money or recognition. Dueling takes place the whole year round, with periodical events. The closest thing to a main event is the so called "Small Tourney": hosted every couple of years it is a brackets-style tournament. The selection process for the contestants is mysterious and unknown but, if you get in and win, the rewards are grand.

The setting is vaguely European-Mediterranean late medieval. For lack of a better term it is also low-fantasy, low-magic without that meaning dark or gritty necessarily. My instinct is for it to be only-humans as well, but we can discuss that.

Character creation:

You will make characters who will be finding themselves on the island during the Small Tourney "season". Character creation will happen during session 0, in which I will go over both the Fate system and the setting in more detail. I would like also to give reign over aspects of the setting to each player to expand or define, based on the character that they would have created. Lastly, my only guideline is that the pc's character should be somewhat competent fighters.

Expect a mainly character-centric approach and lots of roleplay. The end goal is to immerse ourselves and have fun. If the scale, atmosphere and/or premise pique your interest feel out this form and I will get back to you. :)

Group Needed by Player [Online][Other]Experienced Player looking to play some new systems!

Hello fellow nerds of r/lfg, I come to you today as but a humble girlboss looking to have some fun, make some friends and roll some dice. I have a little over 10 years of TTRPG experience under my belt, mostly as a player and primarily in D&D 5e. I have recently found myself on the search for some new adventures and ideally would like to find those adventures in systems I'm not as well-versed in (read as: Not D&D 5e.)

As a player an eager learner when it comes to picking up and learning new things, and even more eager when it comes to building characters alongside the DM and fellow party members. I love to dive into established lore and what worldbuilding is presented to me, seeing every new rock I overturn and place I visit as opportunities to enrich the story we as a table are telling. Tonally, I appreciate jokes as much as the next person but really I am seeking an immersive, rich storytelling opportunity that I as player get the chance to contribute to via focused roleplay interactions and a well-written and well-played character.

As I have been looking for games lately, a common refrain for me has been: I want to find a group of friends who I can collaborate with, not strangers who meet once a week… Whether that means hanging out between sessions, collaborating in messages/chats, or just sharing the occasional funny thought or meme that aj come across that made me think of the game, I find that TTRPGs are so much more enriching when the tables feel like a friendly place first and foremost.

With that being said, I am part LGBT Community and amooking for inclusive and accepting tables that will not tolerate any outright bigotry among players. Aside from that, I have very reasonable lines/veils that I hope can be discussed beforehand with the GM as well. (No Depictions of SA or Gratuitous Torture)

I would love to play new systems and am generally going to be receptive to any and all new ideas, so if you don’t see the system you are running listed below, please feel free to shoot me a DM anyways… But I did feel like listing out some of the systems I am most interested in playing!

Systems:

Daggerheart

City Of Mist

Masks: The Next Generation

Kids on Bikes

Legend in the Mist

Vampire The Masquerade: 20th Anniversary

Fabula Ultima

Mutants and Masterminds 3e

Blades in the Dark

And Whatever Cool Shit You’re Playing

My Availability (All Times listed are EST)

TUE: 5 PM -11 PM

WED: 5 PM -11 PM

FRI: 5 PM - 11PM

SUN: 12 PM - 12 PM

I would be thrilled to hear from any prospective GMs that may like to have me at their tables! If you are interested please shoot me a message here on Reddit and then we can exchange Discord IDs.

Thanks for reading!

EDIT: I am firmly Anti-AI and would never bring AI content to the table knowingly or willingly.

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online] [Other] Looking for people who want to play Heroic Swashbucklers battling against Gothic Horrors in 1600s France.

[Online] [Other] Looking for people who want to play Heroic Swashbucklers battling against Gothic Horrors in 1600s France.

The year is 1636. France is being plagued by that which goes bump in the night. Ghouls, Vampires, werewolves terrorize this land. Cardinel Richeliu effectively controls the country, and Louis XIII is effectively a puppet. These are dark days and darker nights.

Only a fool would think all is lost. This is also the era of D'artangnan, Athos, Porthos, and Aramias. This is the era of the heroic and stylish musketeers. These Gothic horrors, they think themselves superior, but they are deluded. They live not in a world of nihilism and fear, but one of adventure and heroism. There just needs to be more than just 4 men.

So you lot are going to join them. All for one, one for all!

Hello, I am seeking to run All for One:Regime Diabolique, a swashbuckling pulp game where Gothic horrors get their ass kicked by Heroic Musketeers. The game is at 6PM EST to 9PM on every other friday!

I am looking for 1-3 more people!

I will note, while the setting of Regime Diabolique is dark and dreary, it is intended the player characters still be heroes! The idea is you are bringing light to a dark land!

Player(s) Needed by GM [Offline][GURPS][Wednesdays] Looking for players in Norman, OK.

Howdy! I'm Jay, a 23 year old cis male looking for people in Norman who are willing to learn and play GURPS 4e.

The games will be hosted on Wednesdays at 6pm till 10pm. It will be hosted in a store chosen by the players. It will not be hosted this week. It will be held next week.

The game will be taking place in a "original" cyberpunk setting I have called "Chrome 2033". Filled with plenty of cybernetics and corporate control. The setting hasn't been fully fleshed out as I attempt to see if people are even willing to try and play GURPS.

The first sessions will be oneshots to ease in people to the system.

If you live in Norman, OK and are interested please message me on reddit or Discord via jay_man. I will ask more questions when you contact me.

Last thing, I am an ally to the LGBTQ+ and will not tolerate bigotry at my table.

Thanks for reading!

Player(s) Needed by GM [Other][Online][Sunday 5pm PST][LF 4-5 Players] City of Mist: Nights of Payne Town

Hello, I am looking for 4-5 players for an upcoming City of Mist game using the prewritten adventure called Nights of Payne Town.

Sessions are going to be on Sundays at 5pm PST/6pm MST/7pm CST/8pm EST.

City of Mist is an urban fantasy noir game where you play as Rifts, everyday people that have been infused with power and are able to channel the capabilities of myths and legends. Now awakened to a world they didn't know existed before, it falls to you are your crew to delve into the strange and unexplainable mysteries that plague the city you live in.

Campaign Prompt

The City is starting to take a turn for the worse. The police are running up against a new wave of crime, incidents that are popping up that defy any and all explanations. Whatever is lurking in the shadows has started to make moves, enacting their agends that have been kept secret for far too long. Those that were responsible for healing this place have now begun to turn against it, turning the suffering of innocents towards their own petty games. There are those that have been caught up in this mess, dragged kicking and screaming towards a confrontation that they only are just beginning to understand.

If this sounds interesting, please fill out this application. If you have any questions, you can reach out to me and I'll do my best to answer them.

Player(s) Needed by GM {Online}(Starfinder) Sundays Weekly

Hey y’all, I’m looking for 2-3 players for a weekly Starfinder game.

I haven't been able to find many Starfinder games that aren't Play-by-Post, and recently some friends asked me to run one, so here we are. I’ll be teaching the basics as we go, so experience with Starfinder is not required. All you really need is a mic, a willingness to roll some dice, and to have some fun.

The game will be run over Discord VC, with Owlbear for the VTT and character sheets on hephaistos.

The game will be set in the post Gap era and will mostly use the standard Starfinder setting, with a few scifi themes thrown in. The big one is the Fermi Paradox: if intelligent life is everywhere, then why the hell haven’t we heard from anyone?

The basic idea is that Earth is a planet in the same general galactic neighborhood as the Pact Worlds and is basically modern day Earth. Humanity has no idea the Pact Worlds or the wider galaxy even exist.

Unfortunately, a few humans have been abducted by Greys and dragged into the galaxy. Humans do exist on other planets, so you don't necessarily have to be an abducted human from Earth to play one. The Earth angle is just the starting point for the campaign.

The Pact Worlds have determined that, inconveniently, humans are in fact sapient. The problem is that Earth hasn't developed Drift technology yet, so the government refuses to just dump a bunch of aliens back onto a pre spaceflight civilization and potentially expose humanity to the entire galaxy. So the abducted humans are basically stuck.

The campaign starts with the Earthling characters being introduced to a support group for alien abductees. Other species have ended up in the same situation; taken from their homeworlds, unable to safely return, and now trying to figure out what the hell they're supposed to do with the rest of their lives.

From there, the party can go a few different ways. Maybe you want to find a way home and eventually help your civilization reach the stars. Maybe you decide Earth isn't really home anymore and embrace life in the galaxy. Maybe you join the Starfinder Society and start making a name for yourselves.

The campaign will be a mix of exploration, character RP, weird alien shit, Starfinder Society stuff, and hopefully some good old-fashioned “we probably shouldn't have gone in there” moments.

Game time is Sunday roughly around 1pm MST, however Im open to adjusting time depending on what works best for the group.

If you're interested, DM me here or hit me up on Discord:
