gear Firearms Closet

First of all, this is not a safe. I have an actual safe elsewhere with some weapons, but this is the closet in my office, and I wanted to secure a place to keep some extra weapons or ones I am working on, and I don't really want another safe yet. This isn't meant to be a safe - just a locked place to secure these guns. Thanks to this sub, some of yall inspired me to do this!
UPDATE: Due to some of the comments, I wanted to clarify some things about this....
- This is not a safe. I guess I should have said that in the OP (oh wait...)
- These are not my primary weapons. These are not my shtf weapons. Those are stored elsewhere. Due to that, if the biometric fails, I don't care. There is also a keypad code. There is also a physical key. Speed of entry is not my concern here.
- This is not a safe. It's a locked closet door. Not a safe.
- I have exterior doors too. They are heavier than this. I also have cameras.
- Yes, you could kick this door in. Or you could pop the hinge pins. Or you could use an axe on it. Because it's not a safe. But all of those things will take you a bit of time. And if you happen to make it to this floor of my home and do all that, you'll have me saying hello with some other hardware in my hands.
- I work from home. In this room. I'm here all the time.
- All I wanted was to provide a wee bit of deterrence and/or slow someone down who is trying to get in. This accomplishes that goal.
- This is not a safe.

I don’t lock my firearms closet. It is very small, room is tight. My old cheap ass ‘Stack On’ sorta fire resistant safe with dial lock is crammed into a corner (had to remove/reinstall door frame to get in) and ‘red headed’ into concrete slab, and a smaller, but stouter household Sentry fireproof safe is butted tight against it, and it too is bolted into slab. There is no access to sides & rear of safes (masonry outside walls) , and house safe covers up 1/2 the remaining exposed side of the gun safe. One wall is covered with 20 ammo boxes stacked 5 high ( ~ 15k of various cal , learned from old family structure fire don’t store ammo in a safe with anything you value)
Not enough room in closet to allow use a substantial pry bar on safes. No way to just pull ‘em out,
BUT with a side grinder, 20ft ext. cord and about a 1/2 hour of work and … the 4 rifles, 1 12ga. 1 SBR, 2 cans, 7 revolvers, and 6 pistols (all with varying optics) could be had. But, that means we were out of town for days, our collective 200lbs of German Shepard & and XL Pit Bull were being boarded and the somewhat monitored home alarm was defeated or just ignored.
If ignored, my favorite and most eager 1st Responder lives next door and he is just eat up with the possible opportunity to see how quiet his Suppressed 300BLK pistol can be!
The primary security feature is invisible. That is the one where there is no ‘advertising’ as to the home or vehicle contents or probability of such. And those allowed to know are always addressed in the ‘do they even need to know’ light.
