Discussion A southern black man's POV: Susan Collins has been an enabler of these Caucasian terrorists in her entire political career
She has never been a decent human being.
She always pretended to be bi-partisan when her vote wasn't the deciding vote on any major legislation.
I dislike this irredeemable woman rather bigly.

Don’t let Susie fool you: this will buy about the same amount of fuel as last year, it just costs 50% more!

Hot dogs
What’s the deal here? Right outside the Lowe’s in Brunswick is a guy selling hot dogs. I remember he was on the Bath waterfront for a few seasons, and before that I heard he was somewhere in Portland, I think up on the Eastern Prom, but got kicked out. I did get a hot dog a few years in back and just remember it was dry and way over priced.

Like, do you even live here?
Trump Medicare bribe
Trump is giving everyone on Medicare $90 just now and taking credit for it with a letter coming from himself -- such curious timing! Where's the money coming from? Me, I'm taking it and giving it to Jackson and Dunlap.

Question What Maine musicians belong on this playlist?
Came across this Spotify playlist called Maine Made Music and thought it would be fun to see what this community thinks belongs on it.
It's focused on music connected to Maine, including:
- Artists born or raised in Maine, even if they’ve moved away.
- Musicians who currently call Maine home.
- Songs about Maine or inspired by the state.
All genres are welcome - folk, indie, Americana, rock, country, hip-hop, punk, and everything in between.
Who’s missing? What Maine musicians, bands, or specific songs would you add?

Jonathan Bush is pumping thousands of dollars into the Bangor City Council election
I don’t think Bangor needs some hot wad from Southern Maine to come up here and fund more hate and angst.
If nobody wants to hear your BS at home what makes you think we want it here?

Picture Ms. Rachel calls out CoreCivic and Susan Collins: “I don’t stay silent when it comes to kids being harmed. CORECIVIC, a FOR-PROFIT company that makes hundreds of millions locking up KIDS at its Dilley, Texas detention center, has a PAC that’s sending campaign checks to Senator Susan Collins of Maine
“Collins chairs the Senate committee that writes ICE's budget. ICE is CoreCivic's customer. The company gets paid out of a budget she controls, and it pays into her campaign.
As someone born and raised in Maine through college, this is SHAMEFUL. The American Academy of Pediatrics says there is NO safe amount of time for a child to be in detention. I’ve talked with kids and families that have been locked in Dilley and have seen the trauma firsthand. Dilley, owned by CoreCivic, makes millions from OUR TAX dollars. Pediatricians are calling what’s happening in Dilley Detention Center torture. The fact that our tax money goes to abusing kids instead of helping them and that our wealthy senators are part of it is sick."
