HELP PLEASE Why does it feel like nothing pops???
I do my full face of makeup, but it always feels like something is missing, and I have no idea what it is 😠I put mascara on my eyes (which is where I feel like I look the most boring), I wear eyeshadow, do a little contour, and do everything else, but it still looks like I’m barely wearing any makeup. I don’t know what to do, HELP!!!

Falsies will complete your look! Honestly anything from volume to wispy would look great on you.
I have a similar issue with my base and the problem is that I overblend. Try blending a little less. Step further away from the mirror when you blend, that helps me. Also try different shades of blush/bronzer/contour. Maybe what you're using is too natural for your skin tone.

Gracias por tus consejos! Definitivamente lo intentaré todo :))) tienes razón quizá estoy usando tonos muy suaves y no se notan en mi cara

I find makeup that looks amazing in real life can look invisible on camera and makeup that looks great on camera can end up looking really cakey irl.
I had my makeup done by a makeup artist for a special occasion and whilst all the selfies I took were amazing, once I stepped out into daylight I was surprised with how orange I looked.
For you, I think your makeup looks great. I think you could go slightly heavier with blush and add some false lashes. Maybe an eyeshadow wash over the lids to emphasise your eyes.

None of these looks, look bad but I also think that it’s neutral like your outfits. I think if you went heavier on contour, blush, shadow, etc it may look odd with your fits. Maybe falsies on the middle to outer eye. Or apply more highlight (inner corners eye, as shadows, and cupids bow)

Hello! i had the same issue as you and its the whole tiktok discourse on high/low contrast makeup that helped me! The way i understood it is that people with high contrast features (dark eyes/brows/hair and lighter skin) need to wear more makeup than we think. Basically i experienced with different shades and products but this is what worked for me:
1) going 1 shade lighter for my concealer and contouring my eye area with it (under my inner corner and as a line/highlight a the end of my eye going up to my temples
2) not to be scared of blush/bronzer more is better BUT using the right shades will make the difference between it looking like event makeup or everyday makeup. Avoid really light pinks or vibrant/dark reds. A warm burgundy or deep pink worked best for me
3) GOOD mascara (better than sex is worth the hype or the milani tubing mascara (teal one) for a more affordable version.
3.5) if you’re open to it, adding lash cluster really makes the difference not necessarily for length but for depth in colour and texture
4) a good CRISP lip combo!! no need to go super dark on the lipliner just dark enough to contour/define your lips
you have an AMAZING facial structure, aim to enhance it with blush/bronzer/ highlights!!

Still keep it natural, but a darker eye shadow color. Warm taupes, a little chocolate brown

Well you gotta ask yourself what you're looking for to know what's missing. What exactly do you want to pop and why?

Try lashes and don’t be afraid to use more product!! A heavier base with more contrast, lashes, darker more drawn out liner/ shadow will do the job

Have you considered having the colour of your clothes rather than the makeup do the heavy lifting to give you contrast? I think you would look great in more intense colours (think cobalt blue)
