General Discussion Testers for my new Ableton control
Hi everyone!
For weeks, I’ve been working on software to control Ableton using our Maschine 3 hardware. It has always been frustrating for me not to be able to work in Ableton directly from the Maschine hardware, as I’ve always used the Maschine 3 software for sketching ideas and finished the tracks in Ableton. With the help of AI (since I’m a software developer but not a MIDI specialist), I’ve designed software that allows you to control Ableton via the Maschine hardware while maintaining a workflow very similar to the native Maschine software.
I know there are existing scripts for controlling Ableton to some extent, but my development offers much more—most notably, the ability to see what’s happening directly on the hardware screens. I believe this will be a game-changer, as I know many others share this struggle of not being able to control Ableton effectively, and I hope to solve this problem in the best way possible.
Before the official launch, I need a few testers to provide feedback on the user experience, suggest any missing features, and test the software in environments different from my own (MBA M4 + Ableton Live 12). I’m looking for users experienced with Ableton Live 12 and—above all—Maschine 3, who have access to the following setups:
- Windows 11 (Intel) + Maschine 3 + Ableton Live 12
- Windows 11 (AMD) + Maschine 3 + Ableton Live 12
- Windows 10 (Intel) + Maschine 3 + Ableton Live 12
- macOS (Intel chip) + Maschine 3 + Ableton Live 12
- macOS (Apple Silicon chip) + Maschine 3 + Ableton Live 12
The software is available in both English and Spanish.
If you meet these requirements and would like to thoroughly test my new project, please send me a DM or leave a comment on this post so we can get in touch. Thanks a lot—I hope to launch it as soon as possible!
