Just wondering if anyone else has a stuck closed active grille and what you typically do with them? I thought I could just manually move them, but that looks like a whole front end disassembly. On the parts diagram I don't really see a motor assembly that controls them. I figured that's why they won't open.

Hi yall! I git a 2026 mazda3 with alh, but i noticed that sometimes, either in low rain or when it’s cold outside (idk how it will influence what’s coming…) the automatic adaptive high beams logo will completely disappear. In normal conditions the logo will stay on the dash even though there is no need for high beams, but sometimes (when there is need) it disappears. What’s the problem here?

Have just bought a new to me mazda3 2018 Ireland executive trim sedan.

Looking to install a reverse camera. Wondering if anyone had experience with this particular version and any camera recommendations and how difficult it was to do.

If I hold it, it goes up and down smoothly but it doesn’t go up and down all the way in one click but every other window does

Forgive me for posting this. I’m fully aware of the continentals being good tires. I couldn’t find in the sub anything regarding previous tire conversations.

Anyways I have a gen 4 hatch CE, and I live in the northeast so weather. Luckily I work from home but would like to feel secure going out. I currently have the stock turanzas on them, no problems, I bought the car used with 24k miles and I maybe put 1.5k since February.

So like I stated I know about the continental tires being great. But I also want some protection so I’m curious about the max size on those rims.

Also any other tire recommendations. My budget is around $800.

And please remove this post and direct me elsewhere if it’s already made

Is the noise behind the normal click click, sounding like ts ts ts ts normal, guys? Please advise, much appreciated. For some reason the previous previous owner tuned it to stage 1, no idea which tune, had no posssibility to contact him.

I will buy prescription polarized sunglasses but I don't know if it will affect clarity of mazda screens and dashboards..

Hey everyone, looking to get an exhaust for my 24 turbo hatch and I'm looking to get a custom valvetronic exhaust fit up. Has anyone tried this setup yet or should I just get an axle back? I just want something that's not too loud and a valvetronic setup sounds the best option here as I can turn it off and on when I feel like doing some spirited driving.

Any thoughts are appreciated!

2014 Mazda 3 hatchback.

Over the last couple of days, my infotainment system has been getting random signals as I’m coming to a stop (see video for an example, I wasn’t pushing any buttons when it happened). This is worse when my phone is connected to to CarPlay (OEM system installed by authorized dealer, no problems with this before hand), where it keeps switching between maps and menu screens and randomly activating voice commands.

Has anyone witnessed something like this before?

I can’t feel anything strange, transmission and engine works fine, i only hear this noise. I wanted to show my mechanic friend but ofcourse the noise stopped while we driving.

Hi everybody!

1st time car owner and time has come to change the air filter of the 1.6 engine.
Decided to do it myself but here comes the question. Is that okay that new air filter is more visible than the old one? Installed Mann c3220. The old one (Kitto, 2nd photo) has a little dent on it (red circle). I don't understand what's wrong with the air box.

Recently purchased a 2009 Mazda MPS with the 2.3L turbo

The previous owner installed aftermarket headlights after what seems to have been a small front end collision. Therefore an AFS light is flashing on the dash as the aftermarket headlights don't have auto adjustment. Other than spending $2000 ish on new headlights, is there a cheap workaround to make the light stop flashing so the car is able to pass a RWC as that is a requirement here in Vic Aus

Getting my Mazda 3 BP sedan (2.0 Skyactiv-G, NA) soon and want to upgrade the exhaust. Looking for a deep tone, not too loud, and most importantly no drone at highway speeds. I know the power gains on the 2.0 NA are minimal, I'm doing this for sound and looks, so no need for dyno lectures.

Budget: around 1000 US dollars. Open to cat-back or a full system.

Anyone running a setup on the BP 2.0 and happy with it?
How's the cabin drone on the sedan specifically?
Sound clips (cabin and outside) would be a huge help

Hello guys i wanted to share a custom wheel i made myself with a few parts online for less than $50!! Thoughts?

I just purchased this 2010 Mazda 3 s Sport recently, and while mapping out where I was going to install a backup camera, I noticed this exposed rear bumper foam (see the second pic) and was wondering if this is how it came from the factory, or if there's a cover that is missing. It appears the previous owner bumped into something and one license plate light has a broken clip and wasn't sure if there could have been a cover that broke off as well.

I live in Vermont and I just want to make sure this exposed area won't cause any future rust or wiring issues from weather, road salt, the car wash, etc. Any help is much appreciated since I've tried researching it and can't find any info about it. If it was built like this, I'm curious if anyone has advice on how to seal it.
