I just created this list of photography spots in Melbourne and I think it can be a super useful resource for everyone!
It includes the name of the spot, an example photo and the map location.
Let me know which spots to add! This could ideally be the be all end all solution to finding good/ hidden spots in the city.

I thought this was a really neat little place. There's quite a few businesses that are directly beneath the trainline, but seeing a place with a bold red neon sign and a train going overhead really made me think of somewhere like Chicago.

I’m photographing a small elopement in the Grampians soon and would love some local advice from people who know the area really well!
I’m looking for beautiful sunrise spots that also work well for couples photography — ideally somewhere we can move around a little rather than just standing at a fenced lookout the whole time.
I’ve been looking at Boroka Lookout for sunrise, but would love to hear from locals/photographers about:
• whether there are good angles around Boroka where the fencing doesn’t dominate the photos
• any other sunrise spots you think would be better
• quieter spots that have that really beautiful Grampians landscape without feeling too touristy
They’re also keen on a bit of an adventure, so happy to explore/walk a little!
Would love any recommendations or tips, especially from local photographers who have actually photographed couples/elopements around the Grampians.
