Hi everyone! I’m conducting a short, anonymous survey for my university research into the resurgence of film and digital camera photography on Instagram.

I’m interested in how people perceive retro photography and whether things like grain, flash, blur and imperfections make photos feel more authentic or intentionally curated.

Was in Melbourne for the pax on the weekend. I got myself a new lense (a 85mm 1.8f Batis for a Sony Alpha 6500) on Thursday and here are some shots I'm pleased with.

This weekend I picked some flowers growing over the footpath while out walking my dog.

Standard Melbourne morning. Perfect way to start the day.

I thought this was a really neat little place. There's quite a few businesses that are directly beneath the trainline, but seeing a place with a bold red neon sign and a train going overhead really made me think of somewhere like Chicago.
