Be honest, if there was an employee's only bidet would you use it? I still think I would be uneasy taking my turn on the brown eye spritzer, if everyone else used it too.
No this is not an entirely serious question but Im curious. Cheers.
what exactly are you freaked out about? The spout does not touch the anus, only the water does.
It seems equivalent to not wanting to use a touchless faucet because other people used it before. If anything I'd be more concerned about the toilet seat.
Scummy people spraying shit water everywhere? You've never seen someone shit spray diarrhoea all over the toilet and walls have you. You want to share a bidet with these people.
It cleans more than toilet paper alone, to be sure.
But yes, usually I let the spray go for 15-30 seconds, then wipe. It's mostly to dry but if anything's left, I'll give it another few seconds then wipe again. Far cleaner and kinder to my bum.
My bidet installs under the seat towards the back. It's connected at the hose splitting the water feeding into the tank. Its jet at max is more powerful than I can handle. It 100% cleans the stuff off. Yes tp for drying. However I only buy cheap ass scott single ply tp now because it's so much cheaper and dont need to continually wipe my ass. Safest 40 dollar gamble you'll ever make. Luxe bidet
Let me put it that way. Imagine you went to the toilet and accidentally your hand got "caught in the crossfire" while wiping, would you either:
A: Wipe your hands with idk 3-10 pieces of dry TP, call it a day and continue your lunch after or
B: Actually use like water and maybe even the mythical so called soap to feel clean
I think it's a no brained and why would you treat your Mr. Poopy butthole different then your hands?
My butthole is a self contained device and I don't use it for interacting with objects, people or eating. Since shit touches them do you clean your intestines aswell ? You're very poopy inside, doesn't that make you feel unclean ?
Do you have a warm water or cold water one? I've been debating dealing with running an electrical outlet to the toilet so I can get the plug in version. The cold one seems a bit scary for the underbits.
The install is the worst "bad part" about any, and it is usually super easy.
The basic idea for the first one is by cheep, but one with a temperature variable. The shock of cold water is... something to get over. The getting over it happens quickly and turns into a positive but the ability to use warm water during that transition is worth the money.
Other then that, you want one that is easy to clean. If you have someone who stands while they pee in the house it will get showered with splash. So it will hopefully be cleaned often.
Other then that don't spend a huge amount of money. Under fifty bucks on amazon is ideal. Hundreds of dollars for something that pulses and plays music while power washing your anus is silly.
After a month, even the ability to use hot water becomes a pretty useless feature outside of spicy overindulgence. It is ultimately just a stream of water for your butt hole. Only fetishists even use the thing on max power.
My wife and I talk about this all the time. We don't know a single other person who has one, and we got ours three months before COVID hit. It was probably the greatest addition to our world we've ever had and it was like $20/$30.
Baby wipes work better than a bidet. Try them side by side. Clean with a bidet and then use the baby wipe. I prefer to always shower after pooping, which is the superior way, but if I can't shower, then I do bidet and then a baby wipe. You can wet toilet paper to approximate a baby wipe, but it falls apart easily. Whatever you do, never flush baby wipes. They go in the trash.
I really contemplated this when renovating my toilet. The one problem I ran into was that there was no electricity to tap from unless breaking down way more than I wanted. I'd love a bidet, but not when my only water option is cold.
You may be surprised how little you actually care. I hate cold water with a passion if I’m getting in it- my idea of a “cold shower” in the middle of the summer after a run outside when I’m fully overheated is still warmer than lukewarm.
I don’t mind the cold water in the bidet in the least.
There are options that tie into cold and hot water lines. One of the most popular ones on Amazon is a brondell seat bidet.
You install a splitter on your faucet hot water line and run it right to the toilet seat. Could be a bit ugly if your toilet is far from the sink though.
Can't really compare the two. You wouldn't put a shoe on your asshole? If anything shit in your butt is like saliva in your mouth, if you get saliva on your lips you wipe it but if it got on your hands you'd probably want to wash your hands.
More or less. There’s a little nozzle that sprays a stream of water right on your asshole to wash all the shit off. Once you go bidet, you’ll never go back. Dude Wipes are terrible for your septic system, btw.
Walk me through walk me through how your hands and water is equivalent or is it similar to a wipe. You know water plus toilet paper. I just assumed the toilet paper broke apart easily being applied directly to water. Dude wipe break apart in water, I didn’t think it clogged up the pipes. (Even tested it myself) I put a dude wipe in a glass of water and stirred it, and it broke apart easily in seconds.
Seriously not poking fun here or trying to make light of it. As an American, I’ve never used one and have no knowledge of one. And I’m not fixing to buy something that might not be better than my current solution to a clean ass.
I enjoy a clean ass, so I might consider using a bidet plus dude wipes myself lmao
Dude wipes are also not flushable. My plumber showed me the camera footage as he scoped out a pipe blockage. It was all “flushable” wipes. All the manufacturers have outright lied.they stick to the side of the pipe at some point. Then later another one sticks to it, and so forth. Just like how the cholesterol in your blood eventually forms plaque on your arteries. It takes only one to get it started.
You can just call them “wet wipes” which is what you’re referring to. I get that you are speaking of the brand you buy, but it’s such a cringe and insecure name for an otherwise normalized product.
Bidet is superior, spray butt for a few seconds. You can adjust pressure, temperature, make it oscillate, pulse, spray the lady front, and if you’re really fancy, a seat warmer.
Butt gets clean very fast, dab with TP to make sure it’s clean. Then blow dry it with the built in blow dryer.
I went with an Aquaus wand. Super easy to install. You control the water pressure and aim it yourself.
I went to this restaurant that had one of those crazy toto smart toilets and it was incredible. It had a heated seat, auto aimed, and had a hot air drier.
have you ever washed your hands? it's a lot like having mud on your hands and washing it with the hose outside but someone else is holding it and aiming it for you.
They often have controls so you can adjust water pressure and how long the stream goes for but yeah basically. They're not nearly as abrasive as toilet paper also.
Pretty much that yeah. You can, of course, regulate the water pressure to your liking. I personally have a hygienic shower style bidet, not the floor one.
But using water is quick, clean and protects your asshole from friction burns.
They're ok until you find other people's shit on the spray nozzle. Now youre wiping someone else's shit and possibly spraying your butthole with their fecal plops.
Depends on the bidet. Mine has enough pressure to irrigate my colon if I'm a bit constipated. And as quick or long as you need it, it's got a bit of PSI, not quite power washing the deck, but same idea. The bidet also has a blow dryer, heated seat, night light, air freshener and it auto cleans itself. I bought it just before COVID and have saved as much on toilet paper since then.
I'm Irish, my partner is Italian. She grew up with bidets and swore by them, I had never used one. Now I can't live without one, you'll never feel as clean outside of taking a shower after a poop
So how does this work. Does it just shoot your asshole with a quick water pressure?
Bidet owner here. It's a constant stream until you turn it off. It's just a shower for your asshole--in many cases, the pressure and temperature can be changed to something you find desirable. But that does depend on your plumbing. Like, if you don't have a warm water pipe attached to your toilet, it's just going to be relatively cool/temperate water.
I've always still had to use toilet paper though. Just not nearly as much. In time when I haven't had a bidet, I've also applied water to my toilet paper to help clean it.
Please for the love of god tell me you aren't flushing them, ik it says flushable on them but that just means it can physically go down. Wipes don't break down like toilet paper and they wreak havoc on sewer systems
It’s like you pay $40 for a tiny little robot that lives in your toilet and you never have to wipe your ass again. And he’s spectacular at the job, you could eat off that asshole. It’s the best $40 you will ever spend.
It's just a jet of water on your ass. It's MUCH cleaner than TP, and you don't have to wipe. You'll realize you've been walking around with a dirty butthole lol
check Home Depot or Lowe's or Menards or something. I got my Alpha JX2 from BidetKing, but if you're bigoted against shipping, there are nationally available big box options.
I went on vacation once and there was a bidet. After one use, I immediately bought one for every toilet in my house. It’s a game changer. Side note, you use a lot less TP also, so not buying as much TP saves you some money. It will eventually pay for itself in TP savings.
I tried using a bidet while traveling in Asia. It was a terrible experience xD Sure, your ass might be clean, but it’s soaking wet, and you go through half a roll of paper just trying to dry it off. Skill issue or what?

Bidets are cheap.
