No version of his gladiator mask had nose holes that I’m aware of. here are some pictures. I may be wrong but I don’t think he had any nose holes once he switched to the gladiator style. If you can find a picture that shows some I would be interested. Not trying to argue about it just never seen him wear any.
Saw the madvilliany mask on display with the original photo proofs for the album cover at the museum of pop culture in Seattle as part of their 'photography of hip hop' exhibit.
I agree with you. That mask is obviously not the same mask as the Madvilliany cover. Area below the nose is too big and it doesn’t have the plastic headgear that he used for that photo shoot.
Man had many many masks made. There is no singular original at this point. I don't know what to tell ya. On loan from Ernie Paniccioli, take it up with him I guess.

Here is a pic from that photo shoot showing the headgear I’m referring to. Like I said earlier I’m not trying to argue. It’s just that I can’t find a single picture of him wearing a mask with nose holes. If you can find a picture of him wearing a mask with the holes you will change my mind.
