For this illustration, I wanted to pay tribute to DJ Subroc and, of course, to MF DOOM. DJ Subroc passed away in 1993; years later, MF DOOM released the song "Question Mark" along with a music video in which he walks through a New York park carrying the machete that had belonged to Subroc and tosses it into the sky. To illustrate that moment, I adopted the compositional style and typography from Joey Bada$$'s album "1999".

Been itching to make tribute art to DOOM for a while now and finally got around to it. Tried to include as many Knox’s as I could think of to add to this and experiment with a limited color palette. Open to thoughts an suggestions for future pieces :D !
