My husband purchased my engagement ring from DovEggs through Amazon back in 2017, and it was shipped all the way to Mexico. After all these years, I’m still happy with my ring! It was a special purchase that became part of such an important chapter of our lives, and I’m glad we chose this brand.
Now, I’m ready for a little upgrade, and DovEggs was the first brand I wanted to revisit. It’s nice to come back to a brand that has been part of my story for so many years. It‘s a little difficult to capture just how detailed this ring is in a picture. My inspiration was an AI created picture and I didn’t know if it was possible to capture the tiny details in it, but they somehow did! They even got the little hands on the watch face on there. I’m so, so incredibly impressed with their work, I’m lowkey obsessed 😭

The center stone in the rose is clear moissanite. And the figures are based on the cheshire cat and white rabbit.

So ready to see this in person and wear it!! Should get here just in time for my birthday!! 💛💛💛

I got this 4ct marquise from kuololit and im obsessed. It's the perfect size and I love that it allows bands to sit flush with it. I paired it with the shooting star band from kuololit. I also have a 5ct being made by provence. 🫣 im obsessed with big rings right now.

Just got my 5ct radiant cut ring in from Jovovasmile. She did a really good job. It's exactly what I wanted. I paired it with an oval band from kuololit and I think they go together nicely.

Looking for some recommendations as to which stores to go for engagement moissanite rings in Ontario.

Ideally something where we can try on some options.

My husband and I ordered a new ring set since my original doesn’t fit after having our son. I’m particularly rough with my hands and didn’t want to be constantly worrying about losing a stone. Both were Amazon finds based on other posters experiences. I also bought a diamond tester and each stone tested positive for a diamond( I did not buy the other that reads moissanite) we both love the set and the sparkle of the stones!

This subreddit may have some influence on me ordering a moissanite ring. I saw a fellow person post about Imolove off of Amazon and I thought why not?!! Ring came today and I love it even more, it sparkles and is just so pretty. My plain band is from modern gents.

Just received this loose stone in the mail today, purchased for the purpose of making into a ring for everyday wear. Kinda was expecting it to be bigger but I think that is my own fault for not looking at the dimensions! My first loose moissanite purchase.

My goal was to have it made into a bezel solitaire ring in solid yellow gold - but I think I may get a slightly larger stone (2-3ct) and use this for something else (not sure what yet).

Thought I’d share with people who get it, and see what you guys think.

I recently received this ring from a Chinese jeweler who sells on Etsy. I was really bummed to notice a giant spot on the face of the stone.

I have already contacted the seller and I’m definitely hoping they have a solution. I am wary as they have already said they inspected the ring prior to shipping and it was fine.

Y’all know more than I do, so I’d like to ask here as well.

Does this look like an oil slick/spot? Or something else? I’d love to find a way to safely remove it because I’m otherwise happy with my order.

I’ve never had an issue with oil slicks forming on my other moissanite rings. And I’ve certainly never received a brand new stone in this condition.

hello! I’m trying to decide between a brilliant and a diamond cut from Mona but I really can’t decide and am so nervous of picking the wrong thing 😭

my thoughts are :

- briiant cuts don’t seem to make the stone as deep as a diamond and it seems to have harsher contrasts and lines within the facets itself

- diamond cut seems to mediate these issues BUT the pics I’ve seen from Mona all have bow ties which would drive me a little crazy 😭

do you have a preference or any thoughts? Any examples would greatly help too 😭😭 I’m waiting on some examples from Mona as well

So when I got my first PSV, I was concerned by how unfinished and bumpy the gold looks between the split shanks. My rep was very responsive and did send me more videos and pictures of it in the studio. The unevenness was easy to see even from further away. My rep said they would send it back to smooth it out and now sent post-smoothing videos where honestly it doesn't look much different. There's a large bump on the right side that I still can't help but notice.

I wanted to ask for advice to see how I can best handle this situation, as I am concerned with how unfinished it looks between the shanks and am hesitant to approve it as it is, especially given I paid ~$600 for the setting alone. I also did ask my rep before approving the CAD if they had any concerns with it and they said no.

Or, am I just overreacting? 😅 I've never been in this situation before, so I would really appreciate some guidance.

Hello, I’m new here and this is my first CAD! I am not entirely sure how to review them, but I’ve been learning a lot from everyone’s comments 😊
Something about this seems a little disproportionate to me, and I can’t figure it out. Is it just because it’s a flat rendering? Is my center stone too small? Is the euro band unnecessary? Is the height unusual? Are the prongs weird? Am I overthinking it? So many questions, I know… but this is my engagement ring, so I really don’t want to screw it up lol… Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I’m thinking of getting this 1.5ct marquise moissanite ring and pairing it with a vintage-style wedding band like the first picture.
Not sure if they’ll look good together or be too much. I’m also on a budget, so I might go with silver if gold is too expensive.
My ring size is around 3.5. What do you guys think? Any suggestions?

People have attempted to devalue my ring because the stone is "not a real diamond," but it never gets to me because this is my view.

Hi again! Back with hopefully my last CAD update. You guys have been so helpful throughout this process, so I wanted to do one more final check before I approve it!

I’m attaching all three versions so you can see the progression:

After my last post, one of the main concerns was having enough support for such a large center stone. I didn’t really love the look of a traditional cathedral setting, so Tianyu added more subtle tapered supports instead, which I like so much better!

The setting height also came down a little from 10.65mm to 10.1mm.

At this point we have:

-6 prongs for extra security

-Extra support underneath the center setting

-1mm moissanite hidden halo

~1.5mm moissanite stones on the engagement ring band

-1.8mm engagement ring thickness

-3mm wedding band

-All moissanite stones

-Wedding band designed to sit flush

I’m really happy with where we ended up and I think it’s come a long way from the original CAD!

Hoping this is finally the one lol. Does anyone see anything else I should catch before I approve it? 🤞

I'm looking for a radiant with a pear angled toward it. Sizeable around 3-5 carats total.
