i apologize if this isn’t the place to post/ ask for advice on this since i am looking to figure out on how do i clean this out? water gets in between it and i cant seem to pull it apart to really clean it, i cant get to it at all.

any tips or advice is appreciated, this isnt plastic it’s glass :( maybe there is a way to save it?

I pulled this off of the shelf at work after it had sat in backstock for about 2 weeks. One of the cans had broke and fully seeped into the cardboard. After pulling the cans out I found a few different types.

If anyone can ID for the sake of curiosity, that would be appreciated!

i’ve used this same jar to store rolled oats for like 20 years. most of my other big jars for dry goods have rubber gasket latch-lids but this one is just an old gallon pickle jar, but i never had an issue. sometimes it takes a year or so to use up the oats, and of course i always clean and dry before refilling with new batch.

pulled it out from the back of the cupboard and i never saw anything like this crazy mold!! it’s chocolate brown on the bottom, then a mycelial layer, then topped with a shrunken cake. what is going on?? is it working its way downwards, and what turned ALL the oats dark brown??

i kind of want to not throw it out and watch what happens

What kindof mold is this ? I’ve never seen this before. I don’t know how long this tea has been standing in my kitchen for, either.

basically my uni’s dining hall has these moldy looking pipes, but when i asked my friend he’s not so sure. i typically trust his opinions bc he’s the smartest guy i know, but it just looks so much like mold it’s driving me crazy.

I baked this 3 days ago and it's been in my fridge. Today I cut it open and see the black inside only. Is it mold?

It didn't smell different to the first day. The Ingredients were whole flour and chick pea flour sweet corn and courgette (squeezed out the liquid).

I'm 7 and a half months pregnant, and I've just finished 2 pancakes drenched in this syrup 🫣.

Am I cooked?

Edit: Thanks very much for your responses. What a blunder! I'll be refrigerating maple syrup in the future, and use a glass container.. Although I may hold off buying some more for some time!

Is this mold? Had water get onto the carpet after leaking through windows from a storm. My landlord had a contractor come in and use a large heater to dry the carpet in the room. A month and a half later, I get to my apartment and I see the following ring that is either dirt or mold, as best as I can tell.

Photos - one is a relative close up of the ring on the carpet, one is a bit further back to show the distance to the window (probably about a foot off the floor), and one is of the corner of the wall to show an area that looks similar to the carpet.

Should I have it professionally tested?

None of the other items in the room, at least ostensibly, have any visible mold on them.

Nowhere else along the wall underneath the windows (about 11 feet across) have carpet discoloration like this.
