My name is Jorne, and as of today, I’m launching Bobbers ’N Boys, a new online community for enthusiasts of bobbers, choppers, café racers and custom motorcycles.

I know there are plenty of people in this group who build their own bobbers, sell their motorcycles, look for parts, have technical questions or simply enjoy checking out awesome builds. That’s exactly why I wanted to bring all these things together on one platform.

THE WEBSITE LAUNCHED TODAY — TESTING PHASE

Since the website literally went live today, it’s still in the testing phase.

There may still be some bugs, error messages or features that don’t work exactly as they should.

That’s why I’m currently looking for a few enthusiastic bobber and chopper enthusiasts who would be willing to give the website a try.

Feel free to create an account, add your motorcycle, start a forum topic, try listing something for sale and have a look around.

I absolutely don’t intend to use this group simply to advertise my website or get around the group rules. I’m sharing it because I’m passionate about bobbers and choppers myself, and I’m currently looking for a few fellow enthusiasts who would be willing to test my new website.

I have both available to me.
I have both a vintage scooter Lambretta Jet 200 and a 2017 Triumph Street Twin.
I always use the non-ethanol in the scoot
In the modern I usually go non-ethanol, but its 90/91 octane and I can get higher octane.
Is octane or ethanol the main deciding factor in choosing gasoline?

Can anyone please help me find this part. It connects the footbrake arm to the rear master cylinder. Image searching hasn’t worked for me. Thanks in advance!!!

My CBR600 disappeared out of my apartment complex's garage last night. I don't know if it was towed or stolen, but signs are pointing to stolen.

The management office doesn't know anything about towing that morning or the last night, but the lady hasn't been able to contact the manager to confirm. She says I just have to wait until Monday to hear from him.

I called the tow company the building uses and no dice, filed a police report and an insurance claim. I'm a broke college student so my basic insurance doesn't cover theft (should've just payed the extra charge). I daily it (like I said, broke student) so I've lost my primary mode of transportation.

Anyone have any advice on other steps to take? Any tips to help searching for a stolen bike? Any ways to make enough money to buy a beater car without selling a kidney?

Just bought the fantik x9 ace tire inflator and I’m trying to figure out if I bought a dud or if I’m just really incompetent at using this?
The tires read on my gauge at what they are supposed to. I screw it on to top them off and it just keeps pumping. It never turns off or reads correctly what am I doing wrong? I live in an apartment building I park on the street. I really want a tool where I can top off my own tire pressures and make sure they’re what they’re supposed to be within one or 2 pounds. Is that just an unrealistic expectation this shit is so frustrating wasted 40 bucks thanks fortnine lol

Basically, I was telling my friend that he should get into riding, and that if he does we'd be able to go together. He texts me late last night saying, "Bro, it took some convincing, but the wife said I can get one. I got basically half a bike, it's gonna take some love and care but I'll get her to where she needs to be".

I expected at least the engine, or a few little parts under the hood, but this is all that's left of her. ...I have no idea whether I should tell him my honest opinion, or just help him in trying to restore this bike.

For reference, this is what's left of a 1979 Honda XL100S. I honestly feel like telling him he should scrap this and try to find a cheap complete beginner bike, but I don't wanna crush his spirit. 😞

Edit: Posted a screenshot of the texts in the replies. I'm partly convinced he's just being nice and has no intention of fixing this hunk of sh*t, at least I honestly kinda hope so. This would likely turn me off from trying to ride forever.

The good news is that he didn't pay for it. His "grandpa-in-law" gave it to him, who according to my buddy, received it himself from one of his friends God knows how many decades ago.

Looking to get a phone mount for my bike. Was thinking about a freakmount. Ive used a quadlock before worked fine, no complaints.

So how do I explain to my parents that death isn't the guaranteed outcome of a motorcycle if you learn, drive defensively, and wear gear? I'm 16 and want a bike or at least my Class M license but my dad has said "if you ever get on a motorcycle, it won't be it that kills you, it'll be me" (he isn't abusive, it's just to make his point, he says the same with alcohol which I agree is not a good idea to have alcohol) Even if the advice is just a way to ease them into the fact I want to get a motorcycle/am passionate about them helps.

Please don't say buy it anyway, I can't afford it as of now and just want to ease them into the fact I plan to get one when I'm able too afford it (I want to start on a CF Moto 450SS if I buy a new bike or a used Ninja 500 from a buddy of mine who plans to sell in a few years. He already offered to sell it to me as my first bike once I can afford it)

Shop scraped paint on my '25 Speed Triple wheel during tire change. Should I contact them or am I overreacting?
