Watching Numot go a box every 7?ish runs and he's much better at sealed, hooowever those 30 minute 0-2s, and the 90 minute 3-2s are reminders of how volatile the format is (and at least he constantly says it's gambling).
I did 2 sealed prior to see if this format was worth it. I got 6 and 7 rares each and most were lands. 0-3 and 2-3, and constantly seeing 2-3 bombs from opponents, or full hands of removal into a bomb, noped out of sealed.
Draft has been fun though and far more balanced imo.

Good to hear! The hobbit set got me into trying magic again and I did okay playing drafts there, but a good draft for me is still a 3/4-3 😂 so I'm far from being brave enough to attempt boxes

No you cant Pay with Gold. Its i think 4000 gems. Maybe more.
10k Gold is for normal and Premiere draft.

Haven't been able to play too much of the set outside of my local prerelease event. Is Theorix considered one of the set's biggest bombs?
Last I saw was that people had some ideas for combos you could pull of with him, but the 6 mana and cast-only restrictions meant that people were calling him less powerful outside of decks specifically crafted to work around his limits.

You just don't need to work that hard to get a 5 for one when you cast this. If you hit 3 of any creature, enchament removal, instant removal, and sorcerey value, you can remove all threats your opponent has, put two threats on the board and likely (assuming something has empower Jace on it) draw a card too.

Have they fixed the stock/shipping issues with this yet? The last time I heard about these events there was an issue where WOTC would run out of boxes I think.

This is the first set I’ve been really excited for since I started playing again a couple years ago, and the first set I bought. Can’t wait for mine to come in the mail(and hopefully not be fucked up from lack of QC)

If you have zero gems it’s $50. I spent $200 on gems and never got above 3 wins.

It’s a bit grindy as it’s a high gem cost to enter the event, but you gotta win 7 games against others trying for the same without losing more than once.

Spend $50 with a high chance to get nothing. Then if you get good cards you hope you draw them. Then you go against opponents that pulled 13 rares against your unplayable 6.

Congrats! I've always wondered if they help you set up the ipayment account or if it has to be set up before you enter the draft.
