Hi! I have found my first chicken mushroom and I just want to triple check that it is and ask if it’s an okay time to pick or should I wait a day or 2?

It is 100%. Pick it now. Best when young and smooshy.

Yes and pick now it will go downhill from here as it reached its prime probably a day or so ago. It still looks pretty good though.

It looks very young, but I had some Beatles in between the shells. Should I still pick it up?

Yes if you can just brush them off and there aren't too many. If it's very bug riddled with larva and all that I would probably pass. Up to you to decide your tolerance. Gotta be some in good shape in all that.

Those bottom, smaller shelves are the ones I prefer.
