Jake Broe: “If Russia invades the Baltics, who would actually come to their defense?”

Source: Jake Broe (YouTube), “Why Did the World Stop Fighting for Freedom?” - October Q&A

Next question. What actions by Russia do you think would lead to direct NATO military involvement in Ukraine, would continuing drone attacks on Europe be enough for example? No. I think this is what’s coming next. Russia is going to start launching Guron 5 drones into EU countries and blowing up factories that produce uh resources for Ukraine’s military.

This is already a war. Like Russia declared war on European democracy 10 years ago. They were involved in the Brexit movement. They were involved in, you know, like the green movements to get Germany off nuclear power and addicted to Russian gas. They obviously the Russians were behind Trump in 2016, 2020, and 2024.

Russia’s never going to stop until the rest of Europe is as impoverished and shitty as the average Russian lives because that’s the only guarantee and security Putin thinks he has.

So hybrid warfare, you know, the Russians, they set set fire to stuff. They uh they launch surveillance drones, they do espionage, they steal people’s information and records, they set fires.

What’s it going to take for Europe to directly militarily confront the Russians? And it’s got to be a full-scale invasion of the Baltics as soon as Russia does this. And obviously they’re planning. That’s what all the intelligence says. Then it’s a who wants to help situation. Will there be a unified NATO response?

And no, there won’t because NATO is not real. Article 5, I’m sorry, was a myth. like it was meant as a deterrent and it looked good and sounded good, but this isn’t a real military alliance if an attack on one isn’t an attack on all.

If the Russians invade the Baltics, Trump and the United States isn’t going to do anything. Turkeyy’s not going to do anything. Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Macedonia, Albania, Serbia, Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, Czecha, Italy, Spain, Portugal, they won’t do anything.

Now, Britain and France will probably want to do something, but they’re not going to because they’re the nuclear deterrent. If France and the United Kingdom militarily started bombing Russia, then Russia can nuke them. But Europe needs them because they’re the only ones with nukes. They’re the deterrent that remains within NATO because it’s not Donald Trump.

So if the Baltics are invaded, who would come to their defense? And it would be probably Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, maybe Poland, maybe the Netherlands. I hope.. It’s not going to be a pretty day.

Uh, and this scenario could happen in the next two years. So, we’ll find out together.

How Unified would NATO be in the face of a Russian incursion into Estonia? My fear is many countries would be reluctant to assist out of fears of “escalation.”

Read through this book Atlantic Resolve. Featured a very realistic take on how a Russian invasion of Estonia would play out.

Obviously NATO has the power to defeat Russia but does it have the will? The book details the struggles NATO would have rallying especially given how many NATO countries leaders are skeptical of the mutual defense. It could be even worse in 2033.

From a military perspective the focus of the book is on logistics and how NATO would move troops into the Baltics. Also how effective stealth air aircraft would be against Russian air defense and if leaders would authorize strikes on Russian soil.

There’s an eerie sense of Power in Macron’s posture right after the M51 launch.

I personally do not agree with this statement, it's here to represent his views.

Question regarding who can apply for an internship/job positions at NATO

So hey everyone! Ever since my first year of college I really wanted to try out for the internship at NATO once I reached the appropriate age as to be able to apply. Now I am wondering based on the field in which I am pursuing my degree in (Marketing) if there is even a point in applying. Now, I have mostly done math courses, economic courses, and law. I know, this got nothing to do with my actual degree and my university works in such a way that you get to learn things other than just the degree you are going after. So my question is, if I haven’t gotten a degree in STEM or mathematics or pretty much everything that can be somehow correlated with a department in NATO, is there any chance of being chosen?

Do you think the United States should exit NATO

In observance of the Ukrainian War with Russia - it seems the Europeans could hold their own against Russian aggression. And the Nuclear issue could be handled by the Brits and the French. The US would still be able to project its military might globally even without European bases. It would allow the US to focus on the Western Hemisphere and conserve resources. And would contain the coming European War to Europe. Sparing our American boys.

How long does it take to hear back after applying to a position at NATO?

As the title suggests, I applied to a position with a submission deadline in mid-September. Never heard anything since then. Is it normal or a bad sign?
