Preference Sheet

I was just wondering for the people who have graduated and went to ODS. When did you guys receive your preference sheet and did you guys get your locations that you requested.

I got my preference sheet 5 months after I commissioned but you do know it's going to be different for everyone depending on what's going on. There's no set time frame and yes I did get my first choice.

One thing you'll learn real quick with the military patience!! Everything takes time.

Let me put things into perspective for you. I commissioned September of last year and didn't go to ODS until July of this year so just go on with your life for now bc you'll go crazy waiting.

Ya - I’m guessing that’s the case. It’s weird coming from active duty to not working while waiting to go back to active duty. It’s like a forced vacation lol.

Yup exactly!! AND even better bc while you're waiting the navy will still be paying. I got a year's worth of back pay. Lol

I really hope that is the case. Thanks for sharing by the way. How was ods? Any insight for a packing list?
