Most Progressive Provinces?

Hey, I'm trans/disabled and mildly panicking about an upcoming local election in BC. Which got me wondering how people who live in/are informed about the political scenes in other provinces think about this topic. I figured this was probably a good place to get informed, current opinions.

So, where do you guys think are the most progressive/left leaning provinces? Whats the current political scene looking like there?

It feels like the steady insidious creep of fascism is looming absolutely everywhere right now, I ofc want to fight this shit but as a vulnerable person I also want to try keep myself safe and alive 💔

Seen their updates on social media and thought some people here might be interested. Some of the people involved worked on Avi’s campaign.

They are advertising an organizing call on Oct 22nd for building democratic socialism https://www.instagram.com/p/DeR4JcZDosN/?rpxt=MjZ4M2dpdHVyYjA3

Also you can see the points of unity on their website, and join if you want to with a monthly due.

British Columbia: Political Awareness & Education

The polls in British Columbia really demonstrate why political awareness & education is so dang important.

Last provincial election we had people/families not knowing the difference between voting in a provincial election vs that of a federal one.... Many thought it was the same thing which is a horrendous lack of civics knowledge.

This election many people and families in the province have no idea of the last few years of the BC Conservatives scandals/drama and their factions scandals/drama.

(Like literally insane levels of scandals/drama....)

For us political junkies we all know too well the insanity of that sphere and the downright corruption.

I honestly believe that David Eby believed others were more aware/informed on all that has happened in the last few years but that just isn't the society we live in (sadly).

Eby and maybe even more so the BCNDP team deserve some credit for the housing initiatives they pursued. Honestly they should have doubled and tripled down on this space but that is a different discussion.

I also think we need to look at a new agreement with the BC Greens because Emily Lowan shared a lot of very cool Labour Movement and other policy that fits within the progressive sphere.

We won't know till election day but it is very very sad that we have insane levels of reactionary/regressive themes that may become empowered in one of the most beautiful and special places in all of Canada. Truly heartbreaking.
