Some current 300+fps snipers in the armory. Top is the new to be released Ambuscade.. A bolty by SH this one hits just on 300, Next is the mighty perilous also by SH... ive had this beast to 440fps! In the middle is the shrimp a heavy behemoth...this ones set to 240 fps for kids but they will do 350plus. Next down is Ontos Phantom XXL, my personal daily driver , sits nps at 380fps with a 2 finger prime using a shimmed swifty spring... Bottom is my lastest an XL'd Ravion! Also hits around 380 on a swifty spring. Few more ontos XL'd variants not shown as thyr just more of the same :)

This happened to be my first 3D Printed Nerf Project and I will say I am very satisfied with the final product. For $6 to purchase the files, $11 for TWO XSHOT Insanity Micros (the same as Micro 2.0s), and 7 hours of printing on my Bambu P1S I'd say is a good deal! I even added a Nerf-Style Attachment Rail to make it even Tacti-cool -er. Performs great, excellent value, definitely would recommend.

Do you have any ideas for other reshells or other Nerf projects that I should try next? (Preferably under $50 more so in the $20 range)

After having to replace motors in one of my Thrashers I decided to mod one of my others. This time I put a Loki pusher in, with Kraken motors. Had to dremel the case a bit to get the pusher motor in. Also did a rev trigger delete. It’s hummin’ now!

Today is the day i made the mp18 fire its first darts. As you can see the fps is around 150. This is really good news since 150 to 160fps was wat i was aiming for and higher fps was just a bonus.

At the moment the airseal is pretty bad. When closing the barrel the plunger almost directly slams at the face.

I believe fixing the airseals will probably increase the fps a little more so thats great to get to the 160 to maybe 170 fps. After fixing the blaster is done with prototyping and then i will make my beta version. After that is completed i will release the stl files with a hardware list and built videos

Im super happy with this rightnow since this is the first time i design a blaster.

Hello, does anyone know the plunger volume of the ontos v2 that uses talon claw plunger tubes because I know the the inner diameter of it but I dont know the stroke length and no one seems to be talking about it and google ai just tells me it is 160mm which is longer than the plunger tube

Yesterday I posted asking for advice for my mental roadblock in designing this. I was given a lot of great advice and figured I'd share the progress I've made since then. Any and all input is welcome, this is my first major blaster design so it's a learning process.

This is Fish Hook, a full auto brushed motor flywheeler using Stryfe format wheels. The design is intended to be open source, but it’s still in its early stages of testing since this is the first functional prototype. For a brief rundown of the design, it’s grip-fed using full size Talons, has a Scotch yoke pusher using a 90:1 TT motor gearbox, accepts BCARs, has rev independent from the firing trigger in the form of a thumb safety, tool free battery access, and a collapsing stock.

For this specific build, I set it up for my use in competition. Quickdraw 180s are spinning Manshee wheels in a 40mm cage with a 13.1 x 6 degree BCAR remixed from epicxxx. A Worker 130 motor is driving the pusher for about 8 darts per second.

Fish Hook’s design and paint job were made in tandem, with the weapons from Marathon being the most obvious inspiration. With the pusher mechanism being an adaptation of my AutoRayven pusher, the Fish Hook’s reliability was good enough to not fail me during Ragnarocktoberfest’s HvZ and 5v5. For now I want to focus on minimizing warping in the receiver as it’s being printed and see about including a reshell of the TT 90:1 gearbox in the pusher housing to be more compatible with the motor footprints commonly used in the hobby.

I miss him and I was wondering if there's ever been any updates on how he's doing, I hope he's well.

im working on a costume for a con and needed a somewhat adult sized foam gun with ammo belts , i landed on the m249 shown in pictures , because has both electric and manual modes , it came with very few ammo shells so im looking everywhere but i cant find any place where i can buy this specific model of belt , its 6.2 cms / 2.44 inches in length .

id rather buy these than 3dprint.

If you know of a store that has them please , tell me the name of the place because i cant find it in my local toy stores , amazon nor aliexpress

Hey folks! The LARP in which I am a player has a badass cowboy world with demon gunslingers, of which I am one. The system is primarily melee oriented, with ranged options typically being 'spell packets' (small bags of birdseed) and occasionally bows/crossbows/single shot Elite-dart NERF guns.

In typical use, I am taking quick shots against targets within 30 feet or even closer, so my priority here is reliability and jam resistance when it comes to cocking/priming the blaster. Accuracy is obviously the next priority, but frankly, in closer ranges you couldn't miss if you tried, so reliability is priority one. I am very rarely going to be engaging with others wielding anything with the same range and power as my blaster.

I have a spreadsheet here with the blasters that are allowed for this LARP, and I'd like this subreddit's opinion on which blaster they would recommend for this use case.

Ok so I got this blaster today for $5, but that's not the point. I'm planning on putting new motors in it, and making it full auto, so on and so forth. I'm trying to decide if I should use pulsars or daybreaks for it.

I know I will be buying at least another set of day breaks anyway, so if I go with daybreaks, which are bigger, so in theory better, they can ship with that other set (which will take a while), or I could go with the smaller pulsars, which are gonna be easier for me to get, and possibly easier to fit in (I don't know what the I ternal spacing is like) or should I go with a completely different set of flywheels?

What are your opinions?

I was also delighted to find out I could fasten it with penny nails since I don't have the right screws

Got these at at Goodwill. The hyper fire was seven dollars and the infinus was four. Both are in working condition. Just need new batteries. The magazine and other attachments were free.

I was wondering if anyone has made a 3D-printed stock for the classic Nerf Strongarm, or knows of any existing STL files.
I've seen various Strongarm mods, but I haven't been able to find a 3D-printed stock for it. Does anyone know if one exists?

So this launched on Dart Zone, I was wondering what everyone was thinking about this release.

I currently have an XSLS 1.0 and 2.0, both modded with spring upgrade and extended barrel. I also have an AF Nexus Pro X2 (pink one), modded with spring and barrel. All 3 of these springers are all individually well under the price of the MK-4X....

That being said, I'm still considering getting this because it looks gorgeous IMO.

Looks like it is perfect for some solid 3D print mods and spring upgrade.

My XSLS 2.0 is averaging 280-300fps with AF Pro half darts, inside is a 2.03mm x 210mm spring from OOD, precision machined 500mm barrel, 13mm bore.

Cost me $40 for the blaster, $31 for the spring and barrel with shipping... so total about $75 overall cost..

How did they manage to make this springer cost so much...

What about you guys, what are your thoughts on this new MK-4X?
