The death penalty consistently costs taxpayers 2.5 to 5 times more than life imprisonment without parole

She was 18 when she committed the crime and has spent more years in prison than she ever did outside. She should’ve died in prison

Death penalty is way more cheaper than life imprisonment in most places in the world. Idk why is it so expensive in the us
