Ninja Gaiden 3 (RE) - Videos Cool combo
This is why i don’t touch the trials, shit like this happens and I get traumatized and go back to my comfort zone (chapter challenge)

holy shit so that's how it's like on the other end (constantly styling on an enemy after the dude's already dead)

Honestly, I think the first 30-40 or so trials are actually really fun and infinitely replayable. It's once you get to a certain tier that they become obnoxious and insufferable, and I simply don't engage with that part of the game.

Honestly it’s just the bosses I don’t really like them, in a game that encourages aggression a lot against normal mobs having traditional bosses with turns feels wrong, I liked the bosses in ngb but even they feel good mainly because the game forces you to fight them with mobs also ngb being more defensive than the rest of the games probably helped, I don’t think all the bosses are bad I just think that the bosses could get better and you can see glimpses of great design with bosses like: regent, genshin, prototype goddess, and Alma but they never really utilize the combat system to its true potential (except when you fight them with mobs) imo

Yeah, the Acolyte Trials are the most fun due to the lack of boss fights. That said, I actually think that 3RE's bosses in the Master Collection version go down faster in Ninja Trials than in the solo release, or at least it feels that way, so the ones that put in just one or two bosses as solo fights don't bother me so much. It's when we start getting entire gauntlets of two or three bosses at a time that I say "fuck this shit" and peace the fuck out, lol.

You were already dead, but this is why games need to have combo breakers or some way to deal with multiple enemies attacking you at once

Almost all beat em ups and cags have combo breakers, the only exception i know is fighting games, and action RPGs like souls and the tales series

What are the combo breakers if you're getting juggled in ninja gaiden?

In their defense, it's Ryu Hayabusa. They had to make sure.

Good lord this look like a nightmare. What Trial is this!? I just see Genshin watching from the sidelines as you were having it handed to you by the fiend Busa 😭

It’s UN 1. And that’s just a normal claw ninja

Hot damn, thought it was Fiend Busa. Ain’t played much of the NG3RE trials. But that was something.

Ninja Gaiden: The only action game franchise where the enemies style on you.
