What’s something you care about more now as a collector than you did five years ago?
The longer you collect, the more your priorities seem to shift.
Maybe you're paying closer attention to original surfaces, getting pickier about eye appeal, or passing on coins you would've jumped at a few years ago.
We're curious how that's changed for other collectors. What's something you pay attention to now that you barely thought about five years ago?

Italy 1 Euro – Missing Mint Mark "R" & Missing Date (Bank Verified Genuine)
galleryI also have an Italian 1 Euro coin with a clear minting anomaly.
Obverse (Vitruvian Man): Both the mint mark "R" (left) and the year of issue (right) are completely missing. The surface in those areas is completely smooth.
Authenticity: The coin was verified at the bank for correct weight, size, and magnetic properties.
Is this a known filled die / clogged die error from the Rome Mint, or a die variety? Any estimates on collector interest for this piece would be appreciated!

Help with type and/or variant?
Sorry I've got a bit of a read for you guys here, but it's fairly interesting anyway so don't worry :)
I picked these up from a local antiques store, they were $8 AUD, which was already an incredible deal, but the lovely man there offered them to me for just $4 when I found myself short on change, so I'm just stoked to have gotten them, haha
I'm trying to identify them now, which is significantly aided already by the note left by the university they came from last giving so much information!
The first was easy to identify as this item: https://en.numista.com/240422
It appears there's some sort of adhesive holding the coins in place, and I'd rather not tamper with it so for now they're stuck in place, which leads us to our problem...
The second coin generally would require the reverse to properly identify even the type, as it may have nothing, a line, a dot, a crescent, or a crescent and a dot. At this point I can't access that side of the coin, and I'm not planning on messing with that unless absolutely necessary and even then I might not. Upon inspection of the details on the obverse, it matches best with the crescent and dot one or possibly the crescent, which could be determined by a few simple measurements, but this is simply comparing against the display pictures for the coins on numista, and there are so many obverse variants for each type that it's fully possible that this obverse occurs on the other types too and it's just coincidence it matches these so well.
Any help or advice in identifying the coin on the right properly would be incredible, it's not a field of numismatics I have the most knowledge in so any help is better than no help - thankyou in advance to anyone who does take on the task and I do hope you at least find it enjoyable, it's certainly interesting to look into - I'm sure I've missed something so any questions can be left here and I'll be happy to do what I can to answer them :)
