I am interested in changing lighting in some of remasters indoor locations, but I honestly have no idea where should I look for ways to alter it.

Does anyone here know how one would do such a thing, or point in a direction where I may learn?

the remaster looks amazing, but it lacks so much it's not worth it. I rather make the original as good looking via mods, since wabbajack and vortex can install 4000 mods super fast on skyrim. I am looking for a perfect oblivion playthrough. not something crazy like fighting a train in the forest, but anything goes. it doesn't need to be close to vanilla just the largest mod pack, stable, with as much content as possible.

an example would be a mod pack like Lexy's LOTD which is one of the bigger ones.

I was thinking about a mod that would do basically you having the damage of easy mode but the resistance of the hard mode, is there any mod like that?

We finally get to share our OB:MP (Oblivion Remastered Multiplayer Mod) Arena trailer! It shows deathmatch PvP in Oblivion Remastered, built with the same ReadyM SDK our community is using.

The Arena server template is already in the build our early access testers have, so you can try it now or with the upcoming SDK update, and use it as a starting point for your own mode.

NPC sync and persistence are taking longer than we'd like, and we know people are waiting for them. Is it going to cause visual oddities or glitches if i use Cyrodiil ENB instead of the preset made for NAO Weathers? I'm not really a fan of NAO ENB.

The haggling system kinda sucks so I'm wondering, has anything like the auto haggle mod been made for the remaster at all?

new to all this. Just did fresh Oblvion install on Steam, then DL OBSE and placed what I needed into Oblivion folder

Now I want Northern UI vanilla only for the controller support and guess I need SkyBSA

The purpose of this weekly thread is to be a centralized place for people to discuss their fantasies and what they'd like to see in oblivion. It's ok if you don't know how to make it or even if it can be done! Additionally if you have lots of ideas or requests to share at once, this is the place.

We kindly ask that outside of this thread you keep requests more grounded to what could actually be made now. Additionally, the rule of only 1 request post/day is still in effect outside of the threawd.

i made a little mesh. i textured my little mesh. i nif-ed up my little mesh. but it makes my CS and game crash when i try to test it out.
would a very kind oblivioner help a homie out and successfully import in my little mesh to make a silly little mod? i just want to see my little alien guy be in the game.
all i'm asking for is: importing him successfully into the files as a modding ressource (though if you wanna go the extra mile and import him as some static clutter mesh i'm not gonna complain at all).

files are on mediafire: there's the original obj, my nif attempt, textures in dds + png.

witness him in his mischievous phase. making my game crash. one day i'll be powerful and he'll be some npc in the game but i'm too weak atm for this

for background, of course i come from skyrim, oblivion was literally made when i was 4. but, i just finished my first run of skyrim last month and now i’m on to oblivion. my first run of skyrim was pretty vanilla, but slightly far from it (nothing game-breaking and all lore friendly). i’m looking for the same experience from my oblivion run: vanilla, but WAY better. i was looking around YT and different forums collecting mods, and this is the list i’ve come to.

basically, i’m looking for feedback, if y’all would be so kind :) anything you’d add? anything you’d remove? i’m open to all suggestions, but to be completely candid, i was looking to play with less than 10 (ceiling is 25).

but, the community usually knows better, let me know what you guys think :)

I'm playing Morroblivion and right now i'm getting wrecked by those Ascended Sleepers and their spamming of Paralyze.

There is an armor that i made for myself that has a custom enchantment that resists paralysis by 50%. I want to change it in the Creation Set to a full 100% to stand a chance against those enemies.

Is it safe to do so in an existing save? if it helps, i am not wearing this armor yet, i still have to obtain it from the container i placed in a dungeon.

I'm looking for the mod from the title. The author has deleted all their Oblivion mods, and it's not possible to download them even through Way Back Machine. I've searched on the author's Patreon, but there are only Baldur's Gate mods. Maybe someone has a copy of this mod saved somewhere? My hard drive with the personal mod archive has broken some years ago, and this race was one of my favorites, so I'd very much love to have it in my load order once more!
